Me lleve una muy grata sorpresa al ver esta película, pues había evitado algunas veces verla, ya que me imaginé que sería solo una más de todas esas comedias románticas que no tienen nada nuevo que ofrecer, pero me equivoqué y que bien que la ví.
I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw this movie, because I had sometimes avoided seeing it, since I imagined that it would be just one more of all those romantic comedies that have nothing new to offer, but I was wrong and I saw it well.
A medida que pasaban los minutos me imaginé que sería algo como amigos con beneficios o algo así, pero al avanzar el filme ves como se desarrollan los personajes, viendo y sintiendo sus sueños, metas y temores, además Hathaway y Gyllenhaal tienen muy buena química, lo que hace aún mejor la película, además a quien no le encanta ver por 110 minutos a Anne Hathaway, jajaja.
As the minutes passed I imagined it would be something like friends with benefits or something like that, but as the film progresses you see how the characters develop, seeing and feeling their dreams, goals and fears, also Hathaway and Gyllenhaal have very good chemistry, which makes the movie even better, plus who doesn't love to watch Anne Hathaway for 110 minutes, jajaja.

Retomando lo último, la actuación y la química de ambos actores fue definitivamente lo mejor del filme, cada personaje se armó muy bien, pero Maggie Murdock (Anne Hathaway) fue quien brillo más, ya que a pesar de su grave enfermedad, aprendió a ver el mundo de otra forma, a reírse y divertirse, volviéndose un personaje muy fuerte y empoderado.
Returning to the latter, the acting and the chemistry of both actors was definitely the best of the film, each character came together very well, but Maggie Murdock (Anne Hathaway) was the one who shone the most, since despite her serious illness, she learned to see the world in another way, to laugh and have fun, becoming a very strong and empowered character.
Jamie Randall (Jake Gyllenhaal) tampoco se quedó atrás, la película utiliza su historia real para mostrar la peor cara del mundo de las farmacéuticas, mostrando una versión, tal vez algo distorsionada, de lo que fue la fiebre del Viagra en los años 90, y como hacer para sobresalir en un mundo lleno de tiburones que no lo pensaran dos veces en acabarte.
Jamie Randall (Jake Gyllenhaal) was not far behind either, the film uses his true story to show the worst side of the pharmaceutical world, showing a version, perhaps somewhat distorted, of what was the Viagra fever in the 90s, and how to stand out in a world full of sharks that won't think twice about killing you.
Los personajes secundarios funcionan y cada quien tiene sus momentos, pero algo que no me pareció del todo bien fue el papel del hermano gordo y triste de Jamie, Josh Randall (Josh Gad), el cual me pareció que pudieron haberle sacado un poco más de provecho y no solo dejarlo como el personajes del que te vas a reír por sus "tonterías".
The secondary characters work and everyone has their moments, but something that didn't seem quite right to me was the role of Jamie's fat, sad brother, Josh Randall (Josh Gad), which I thought could have taken a little more out of him. profit and not just leave him as the character that you are going to laugh at for his "nonsense".
También hay algunas cosas que no me gustaron, empezando por la perdida de protagonismo tan súbita de Jamie, la interminable publicidad a Pfizer, los momentos sin sentido que le quitan seriedad a la película y por sobretodo, que es sumamente predecible, me gustaría ver por alguna vez un final diferente que nos dejara a todos con la boca abierta, pero no creo que llegue a pasar.
There are also some things that I did not like, starting with Jamie's sudden loss of prominence, the endless publicity for Pfizer, the nonsensical moments that take away the seriousness of the film and above all, that it is extremely predictable, I would like to see for ever a different ending that will leave us all speechless, but I don't think it will ever happen.
Todos necesitamos a alguien que nos cuide, que esté con nosotros, sin importar si estamos sanos o no. Con esta frase quiero terminar la review, ya que a pesar de todo, la reflexión final del filme es muy bella y merece la pena recalcarla. Otra cosa, está película es ideal para verla con tu pareja o con amigos, tiene demasiados desnudos y escenas de sexo como para ser vista por los pequeños del hogar.
