Sin embargo, es muy avanzada a su época, pues es un símbolo sexual y disfruta plenamente de su sexualidad. Su carrera esta en lo mas alto del espectáculo hasta que rechaza el avance romántico de su nuevo jefe, quien fue un antiguo colega, ahora esta encantadora mujer tendrá que enfrentar la ira del despechado sujeto, que no dudara en usar su posición de poder para hundirla.

Realmente no veo muchos musicales, excepto por algunas películas de Disney, no tengo nada contra del genero, solo que simplemente no se presenta la oportunidad, incluso no sabia que este filme era uno de ellos hasta que comenzaron a cantar a mitad de una escena. No me molesto y a pesar de que no entiendo nada en polaco, me gusto el ritmo y la interpretación, mas bien, al poco tiempo estaba buscando sus canciones originales por YouTube.
La película me gusto, especialmente porque se inspiran en la vida de una artista real, no voy a mentir, me gusta la historia, indistintamente del país o la cultura, y aunque una película no es fuente fiel para datos históricos si es buen material para descubrir hechos, que podemos investigar en otra parte.
La cinta hace un enfoque especial hacia la vida de una mujer en esos años, donde el machismo y las creencias puritanas restringían las opciones y acciones de una mujer. Para alguien, independiente, fuerte y en pleno uso de su sexualidad como lo fue nuestra protagonista, cada día era una batalla, pues nadie la valoraba mas que como una cara preciosa o un objeto.
En interesante ver como hemos avanzado a lo largo de los años pero al mismo tiempo sigue existiendo ese mismo tipo de problemas. Sin embargo, ahora hay muchas mas libertades que en esa época, aunque todavía quedan tabúes por derribar, podemos ver el avance entre una generación y otra.
El machismo queda plenamente reflejado en la cinta, también la corrupción de la industria del entretenimiento y la hipocresía de esta, que al ser un escandalo eres un ser indeseable pero cuando tu estatus mejora, eres justamente la persona que ellos quieren y apoyan. Además no podemos negar, después de tantas evidencias, que en ese mundo del espectáculo, los individuos en una posición de poder se aprovechan de sus empleados para conseguir lo que ellos desean, un acto muy deplorable.
No se mucho sobre la vida de Jedrusik, pero la muestran como una mujer adelantada a su época, por lo cual se gano muchos conflictos. Sin embargo, no dejada que eso le afectara y seguía adelante con su personalidad tan llamativa, creo que eso es lo que mas encanta de la protagonista, no es que sea optimista, sino es alguien decidida y que todo no se dejaba intimidar por la critica en su contra. También se describe como era la vida romántica de la protagonista y su relación con su esposo, un conocido escritor que parecía estar mas interesado en su compañero de trabajo, que en su esposa.
Algo que me encanto del filme es su humor, los diálogos son ingeniosos y divertidos, haciendo que cada escena sea cautivadora y atractiva. Otra cosa que me gusto, es la paleta de colores y su música, no por nada termine buscando sus canciones. Creo que representan muy bien la época, sin dejar de lado el foco principal de la historia, la vida del icono. Aun así hay menciones a los problemas y situaciones de ese entonces. Por cierto, el final me encanto, fue simplemente justicia poética.
La actuación es exquisita, lo que facilita empatizar con la protagonista, entiendes muy bien su postura y frustración, además la animas a que tome cartas en el asunto cuando es debido, sintiendo rápidamente una conexión con la chica, lo que demuestra el nivel actoral presente.
En conclusión, la recomiendo sin duda alguna, en especial si te gusta el ingenio clásico de la época y las películas inspiradas en artistas polémicos. incluso, si no eres fan del musical , te va a fascinar.

I don't really watch many musicals, except for a few Disney movies, I have nothing against the genre, just that the opportunity just doesn't present itself, I even didn't know this film was one of them until they started singing in the middle of a scene. It didn't bother me and even though I don't understand Polish at all, I liked the rhythm and the performance, moreover, before long I was looking for their original songs on YouTube.
I liked the movie, especially because it was inspired by the life of a real artist, I'm not going to lie, I like history, regardless of the country or culture, and although a movie is not a faithful source for historical data, it is good material to discover facts, which we can investigate elsewhere.
The film has a special focus on the life of a woman in those years, where machismo and puritanical beliefs restricted a woman's choices and actions. For someone, independent, strong and in full use of her sexuality as our protagonist was, every day was a battle, because no one valued her more than as a beautiful face or an object.
It is interesting to see how we have advanced over the years but at the same time the same kind of problems still exist. However, now there are many more freedoms than at that time, although there are still taboos to break, we can see the progress between one generation and another.
Machismo is fully reflected in the film, also the corruption of the entertainment industry and the hypocrisy of this, that when you are a scandal you are an undesirable being but when your status improves, you are just the person they want and support. Also we cannot deny, after so much evidence, that in that entertainment world, individuals in a position of power take advantage of their employees to get what they want, a very deplorable act.
I don't know much about Jedrusik's life, but she is shown as a woman ahead of her time, for which she earned a lot of conflict. However, she did not let that affect her and went ahead with her striking personality, I think that's what I love most about the protagonist, not that she is optimistic, but she is someone determined and not intimidated by the criticism against her. It also describes the romantic life of the protagonist and her relationship with her husband, a well-known writer who seemed to be more interested in his co-worker than in his wife.
Something I loved about the film is its humor, the dialogues are witty and funny, making each scene captivating and engaging. Another thing I liked is the color palette and the music, not for nothing I ended up looking for their songs. I think they represent the era very well, without leaving aside the main focus of the story, the life of the icon. Even so, there are mentions to the problems and situations of that time. By the way, I loved the ending, it was simply poetic justice.
The acting is exquisite, which makes it easy to empathize with the protagonist, you understand very well her position and frustration, plus you encourage her to take action when it is due, quickly feeling a connection with the girl, which demonstrates the acting level present.
In conclusion, I recommend it without a doubt, especially if you like the classic wit of the era and films inspired by controversial artists. Even if you are not a fan of the musical, you will be fascinated.

La vi ya hace full tiempo y tengo que decir que me costo un poco entender la trama y el contexto que manejaba el director tanto en la fotografía como en el desarrollo de la historia donde además mesclo escenas con un estilo musical que no está mal ya que va de la mano con la película.
Cuando la vi no sabia que era basada en una persona real y tampoco investigué mucho ya que tenia la vaga idea de que era un tipo de honor a Marilyn Monroe por el estilo y picardía de la protagonista. Evidentemente por lo que mencionas estaba un poco equivocado y digo un poco ya que tiene algo de ese estilo de una de las leyendas del mundo de espectáculo y creo que en la película hacen una mención sobre ello.
Me gusto la dirección que le dieron y la lucha entre el poder masculino y el femenino dentro de la industria, aunque me hubiera gustado mas intensidad creo que fueron muy sutiles al momento de plantear cada idea ante la pantalla y no soy un experto ni deseo serlo, pero fue lo que me trasmitió. Desde luego el machismo tiene peso en la película, pero también veo que al mostrar al personaje de Kalina con una relación abierta le dio otra visión a todo lo que se podía interpretar, claro no estoy seguro si tenían alguna intensión con esto, pero funciono ya que puedes ver como ese personaje pone limites tanto en lo emocional como profesional.
No me quiero extender mas de lo normal y desde luego estoy de acuerdo contigo es una película para ver y no dejar pasar la oportunidad.

Si tiene muchos matices. Claro, es solo un fragmento de un punto de su vida, no podemos entender todo con eso, pero nos da una vision general de quien era. Tambien note la relacion con su esposo, parecia una pareja abierta aunque algo desinteresada, complicado incluso hoy en dia. En mi caso note que hablaba de un artista real debido a los creditos, si no tampoco me entero.

This is certainly looking like a great movie...I love movies based on real life events..it gives me that feeling of a real life situation like it is replaying in front of me...I must wonder and would love to watch how she survived that man and his deeds to sink her up...It would be very exciting..I never really heard Polish..might be an excellent idea
