Es una película de fantasía, comedia, misterio y policial del año 1988, dirigida por Robert Zemeckis y protagonizada por Bob Hoskins, Christopher Lloyd y Charles Fleischer. Eddie, quien no tiene una buena relación con los seres animados, se ve envuelto en el escandalo cuando el asesinato del magnate sacude la farándula.

Como muchos, vi esta película de pequeña varias veces, ya que lo pienso, y nunca me canso, incluso hoy en día me sigue encantando, no se si es por la nostalgia o por el gran trabajo que es. Sin embargo, me sigue cautivando.
Hace unos días se estreno Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, una película que al igual que esta combina animación con personajes reales, así que decidí volver a ver esta joya del cine como una antesala para este nuevo filme, además quería compartir algo de este clásico con mis sobrinos mas pequeños, enseñándoles un poco de las producciones que me vieron crecer.
Esta obra se considera de culto dentro del mundo de la animación, debido a la calidad de sus efectos de especiales, siendo unas de las primeras en lograr un excelente resultado en la fusión de animación y la acción real.
Ella no solo goza de una excelente animación, que incluso en la actualidad se ve fresca y sobrepasa a otras producciones, sino también a nivel actoral es muy sorprendente, pues la mayorías de las escenas de nuestro protagonista, interpretado por Bob Hoskins, son dramatizaciones en solitario, ya que los otros personajes con los que interactúa son animaciones 2D. Esto en contexto es increíble, es una época donde todavía no existe la captura de movimiento o algo parecido, entonces es simplemente un actor pretendiendo trabajar con otros personajes que no están presentes, un hecho muy difícil de lograr por cualquiera, eso demuestra el nivel interpretativo de Hoskins. En lo personal, pienso es esto es asombroso.
La trama es entretenida, no se cuantas veces la he visto pero nunca me aburro, los detalles y referencias a la series de la época son ingeniosos y creativos, como mínimo. La música es buena y los aspectos técnicos lo son mas, no hay duda porque es una de las obras de culto mas importantes del cine. Además tiene en su elenco a Christopher Lloyd, uno de los actores mas queridos de la farándula, esto sin duda suma puntos extras para mi.
Al ser una película de culto, tiene mucha magia a su alrededor, que otras obras carecen, desde curiosidades hasta leyendas, incluso creencia sobrenaturales. Para mi, todos esos hechos le confieren el titulo de icónica, este filme lo es. Esta marcada para siempre en la cultura popular y muchas otras producciones referencian su material como homenaje hacia su trama, además a jugado un papel importante las infancias de millones de niños y la historia del cine.
La trama referencia a las películas policiales y de detectives del cine de los años 50, sin dejar de lado la locura que caracteriza a los dibujos animados clásicos, cosa muy importante pues balancea muy bien ambos mundos, haciendo que la interacción entre los personajes sea orgánica y natural.
Como dato curioso, en la película están presentes múltiples personajes de distintas casas de animación, entre ellas compañías rivales como lo son Disney y Warner Bros tuvieron que hacer arreglos para que sus estrellas animadas estuvieran presente. Sin embargo, hay un caso especial con el tema de sus mascotas oficiales y personajes mas conocidos, como seria Mickey Mouse y Bugs Bunny, llegaron a un acuerdo oficial donde ambos tendrían el mismo tiempo en pantalla y ninguno ridiculizaría al otro, para que ambas compañías se sintieran conformes, es por ello que duran tan poco tiempo en la película.
No se que mas decir, que ya no se haya dicho sobre esta gran obra del cine. Sinceramente la recomiendo, es una película para no perderse sin importar la época o la edad. Es cómoda, divertida, asombrosa y para toda la familia.

Like many, I saw this movie as a kid several times, since I think about it, and I never get tired of it, even today I still love it, I don't know if it's because of nostalgia or because of the great job it is. However, it still captivates me.
A few days ago Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers was released, a film that like this one combines animation with real characters, so I decided to see again this gem of cinema as a prelude to this new film, plus I wanted to share some of this classic with my younger nephews, teaching them a little of the productions that saw me grow up.
This work is considered cult in the world of animation, due to the quality of its special effects, being one of the first to achieve an excellent result in the fusion of animation and live action.
It not only enjoys excellent animation, which even today looks fresh and surpasses other productions, but also at the acting level is very surprising, since most of the scenes of our protagonist, played by Bob Hoskins, are solo dramatizations, since the other characters with whom he interacts are 2D animations. This in context is incredible, it's an era where motion capture or anything like it doesn't exist yet, so it's simply an actor pretending to work with other characters that are not present, a fact very difficult to achieve by anyone, that shows Hoskins' acting level. Personally, I think this is amazing.
The plot is entertaining, I don't know how many times I've seen it but I never get bored, the details and references to the series of the time are witty and creative, to say the least. The music is good and the technical aspects are even better, there is no doubt because it is one of the most important cult works of cinema. It also has in its cast Christopher Lloyd, one of the most beloved actors of the show business, this certainly adds extra points for me.
Being a cult film, it has a lot of magic around it, which other works lack, from curiosities to legends, even supernatural beliefs. For me, all those facts give it the title of iconic, this film is it. It is forever marked in popular culture and many other productions reference its material as a tribute to its plot, as well as playing an important role in the childhoods of millions of children and the history of cinema.
The plot refers to the police and detective films of the 50's, without leaving aside the madness that characterizes the classic cartoons, which is very important because it balances both worlds very well, making the interaction between the characters organic and natural.
As a curious fact, multiple characters from different animation houses are present in the film, among them rival companies such as Disney and Warner Bros. had to make arrangements for their animated stars to be present.
