Un chico de la alta sociedad con un trágico pasado, comienza a sentir sucesos extraños a su oledor que nadie mas parece notar. Esto lo lleva a descubrir una gran conspiración que podría cambiarlo todo. Con eso en mente, él y sus amigos lucharan para salvar el pueblo y tal vez a la humanidad, de esos funestos planes demoniacos.

Siendo honesta con ustedes, la película no me gusto pero tampoco la odie, fue algo mas parecido a perder el tiempo. Soy alguien complicado con el terror, como muchos ya, son muy pocas historias que me llegan o trasmiten esa sensación inquietante, generalmente estas películas me terminan dando gracia, por lo absurdo de las situaciones, lo que es algo bueno, al menos para mi, porque le saco una parte positiva. Sin embargo, en este no fue el caso, hasta hubo escenas en las que me dormí unos segundos, sin mentir me dormí.
He visto últimamente, que en el terror fusionan muchos tópicos clásicos del genero, como serian: demonios, posesiones, sectas, espíritus, cristianismo, enfermedades mentales, alucinaciones, entre otros mas. Para crear algo nuevo y fresco, cosa que esta genial si esta bien hecha, pero si no, es una ensalada sin sabor, cosa muy poco atractiva. Aquí podemos ver un ejemplo donde fracasa.
Al inicio parece que todo es debido a la mente humana, que en lo personas me hubiera gustado que lo mantuvieran, tal vez por mi gusto a ese tipo de terror mas psicológico, pero cambiaron el rumbo a la conspiraciones, sectas y demonios, con tintes cristianos, cosa que es aceptable. Sin embargo, predecible.
Hay momentos en los que a narrativa te confunde, no importa que sea algo simple, lo que molesta. Las actuaciones son normales, casi rosando a malas y sus personajes son chicles, lo que empeora la situación. También te hace repensar algunos hechos y compararlos con la realidad, cosa negativa porque destaca lo absurdo. Ejemplo: ¿Por que los jóvenes seguían con el tratamiento cuando les hacia daño? era muy fácil intuir que eran las pastillas, antes de ellas estaban bien, después de estas empeorar. Sin embargo, todos eran muy puntuales al tomarlas, entiendo el caso del protagonista que lo engañaron desde niño, pero el del bravucón no. Otra dato mas interesante o curioso es que aquella que se presento como una doctora experta en hongos y plantas, termino cumpliendo el papel de médium, espiritista, exorcista y vendedora de drogas, esos si son intereses variados.
Es como si vieras Get Out pero en vez de que sea una secta racista, los que roban los cuerpos, son demonios, cosa muy común para ellos, según la mitología o la ficción. A parte de ese hecho no se parecen en nada, mas bien, esta cinta deseara ser Get Out le falta mensaje, fuerza, trama, recursos, actuaciones, dirección, sentido y mucho mas, para ser comparables.
Hay varios detalles de su discurso que me llaman la atención. Inicialmente sentí una indirecta hacia el privilegio que tiene las nuevas generaciones comparadas con el pasado, aunque este dialogo se volvió literal con el tiempo, refiriéndose a el honor de ser recipiente de uno de los demonios. La mención que las enfermedades mentales, en épocas pasadas, se veían con tintes mas religiosos o como actos demoniacos, es cierta, pero dar la resolución que los tratamientos a estos males solo crean mas demonios, es contradictoria, y también puede ser una metáfora a como algunos medicamentos representa una carga mas para el paciente. Sin embargo, al igual que lo anterior, esto se vuelve mas textual en la historia, cuando se revela la conspiración con los fármacos. Esto genera conflicto, como si tratara de decir algo y a la vez no. Capaz, sobre analizando sea de como las enfermedades mentales o los traumas generacionales se heredan y afectan constantemente a las familias, lo que seria algo interesante, lastimas que no lo vi alli.
Una cosa que quería mencionar, es el mal manejo que recibió las enfermedades mentales y su tratamiento, se que todo es ficción y la película no es tan buena como para ser creíble. Sin embargo, alguien predispuesto a algo creerá lo que sea, ya hay personas que piensan que las enfermedades de cualquier aspecto mental son falsas, lo que es peligroso y no hay que caer en eso. Por ello tomen su medicamento y vayan al medico, así como el cuerpo se enferma nuestra mente también.
En conclusión, no recomiendo la película, hay mejores cosas en las que invertir el tiempo, pero si la ven sean sensibles con el tema.

Being honest with you, I didn't like the movie but I didn't hate it either, it was more like a waste of time. I'm someone complicated with horror, like many already, there are very few stories that reach me or transmit that unsettling feeling, usually these movies end up giving me fun, because of the absurdity of the situations, which is a good thing, at least for me, because I get a positive side. However, in this one it was not the case, there were even scenes in which I fell asleep for a few seconds, no lie I fell asleep.
I have seen lately, that in horror they merge many classic topics of the genre, such as: demons, possessions, cults, spirits, Christianity, mental illness, hallucinations, among others. To create something new and fresh, which is great if it is well done, but if not, it is a tasteless salad, which is very unattractive. Here we can see an example where it fails.
At the beginning it seems that everything is due to the human mind, which I would have liked to keep it, maybe because of my taste for that kind of psychological horror, but they changed the course to conspiracies, sects and demons, with Christian dyes, which is acceptable. However, predictable.
There are moments in which the narrative confuses you, no matter how simple it is, which is annoying. The performances are average, almost bordering on bad and the characters are bubblegum, which makes the situation worse. It also makes you rethink some facts and compare them with reality, a negative thing because it highlights the absurd. Example: Why did the young people continue with the treatment when it was hurting them? it was very easy to intuit that it was the pills, before they were fine, after they were fine they got worse. However, they were all very punctual in taking them, I understand the case of the protagonist who was tricked since he was a child, but not the bully. Another interesting or curious fact is that the one who presented herself as an expert doctor in mushrooms and plants, ended up playing the role of medium, spiritualist, exorcist and drug dealer, those are varied interests.
It's like watching Get Out but instead of it being a racist cult, the ones stealing the bodies are demons, which is very common for them, according to mythology or fiction. Apart from that fact, they are nothing alike, rather, this film would like to be Get Out, it lacks message, strength, plot, resources, performances, direction, sense and much more, to be comparable.
There are several details of his speech that catch my attention. Initially I felt a hint towards the privilege that the new generations have compared to the past, although this dialogue became literal over time, referring to the honor of being the recipient of one of the demons. The mention that mental illnesses, in times past, were seen with more religious overtones or as demonic acts, is true, but to give the resolution that treatments for these ailments only create more demons, is contradictory, and may also be a metaphor for how some medications represent an additional burden for the patient. However, like the above, this becomes more textual in the story, when the conspiracy with the drugs is revealed. This generates conflict, as if trying to say something and yet not. Maybe over analyzing how mental illnesses or generational traumas are inherited and constantly affect families, which would be something interesting, too bad I didn't see it there.
One thing I wanted to mention, is the bad handling that mental illnesses and their treatment received, I know that everything is fiction and the movie is not so good as to be credible. However, someone predisposed to something will believe anything, there are already people who think that diseases of any mental aspect are false, which is dangerous and we should not fall into that. So take your medicine and go to the doctor, just as the body gets sick so does our mind.
In conclusion, I do not recommend the movie, there are better things to invest your time in, but if you see it, be sensitive to the subject.

La verdad es que no terminé de ver está película por alguna razón no le seguí la onda es de esas que Carajos si no me atrapa en los primeros 30 minutos o por lo menos me entrega algo de interés es muy probable que me pierda y con está paso eso no la puede ver me aburrió.
Claro todos tenemos gustos distintos y eso es lo lindo de esté mundo que sea cuál sea nuestra forma de ser o pensar podemos tener gustos parecidos y también muy diferentes.

Si uno en ocasiones la termina de ver para decir con toda base que es una cagada de película, pero yo de pana no pude seguir digiriéndola y fíjate no me equivoque.
