REVIEW: Little Fish (2020) || Recuerdos borrados (2020)

For me, the best scene is when they are in a borrowed cabin, which is already part of the third act. Jude chooses a suitable moment to do something necessary that will leave them both satisfied. Again he shows how he takes his precautions so that his health problem does not beat him in a to achieve his goals. A clear reminder of what we can do when we have health and clarity.

Blonde, a controversial film about the life and death of Marilyn Monroe.

What I find quite striking during the movie is undoubtedly the constant change in aspect ratio, in addition to the fact that sometimes there are color scenes and others in black and white, this resource seems magnificent to me, I loved it for how experimental it is, with different aspect ratios depending on which one it opens up possibilities for the viewer to be able to notice more things or focus on something specific, depending on whether it is wider or closed. Another thing that stands out is Ana de Armas' performance as Marilyn Monroe, being an exact replica of her, looking very similar in every scene she recreates, it's incredible and admirable. I believe the only major flaw of this movie is that it is fiction, because for those unaware it can easily distort their reality about the true events, so much so that if I had not investigated I would have been a victim of the same, I would have believed everything that the film tells about Marilyn Monroe, I honestly couldn't tell you if they did right or wrong in adapting the novel on which all this is based but I'm sure it was with the purpose of being controversial and they achieved it in an abysmal way. What else can I tell you? Very good movie but it damages the image of an iconic character, not suitable for sensitive people, if you watch it, do so at your own risk.

Shogun (series): If you aren't watching this already, you need to start immediately

While there are a lot of "main" characters, the one that is the center of focus more often than not is John Blackthorne who is an ambitious English sailor whose original intention was to establish trade between England and Japan when he arrived and was essentially taken prisoner at first. This takes place during a period of actual time where the English, the Spanish, and the Portuguese were racing one another to see who could conquer and colonize the most of the planet at the time. When John is released from his bonds and is introduced into Japanese society, he finds that the Portuguese are operating on colonizing the country in the name of Christianity already.

Romantizando relaciones Tóxicas: Crepúsculo 🍎

Bella begins to have this complex of wanting to heal the incomplete man, of wanting to have danger close, I don't know if because she feels insufficient or because women often feel the need to heal someone, to build our Perfect man with foundations that are not very good That is the big problem that these kinds of movies have left us, that we feel obliged to heal those who did not ask to be healed, we “like” danger and we equate it with feeling alive, thanks to the adrenaline that this causes us. , but we do not see the damage that we do to ourselves, this saga can be said to end much better than “three groupers over the sky” but it is not saved from the countless red flags that Edward gives us.

[Movie review] [Eng | Esp] Blackout

The construction of the world is quite disastrous, the film takes place in the same setting which is not a problem per se, however, the film tries to build an overly ambitious context that covers the entire double life of the agent but unfortunately everything ends up being a fiasco because it only ends in a confusing and incomprehensible setting.

Long Day's Journey Into Night (2018): in search of lost love | en busca del amor perdido

There are many highlights in making a good film, but there are two that I really like: the script and the cinematography. Asian movies, at least most of the ones I've seen, take special care in these two things. The stories they tell are emotional, they are full of meaningful, symbolic scenes, phrases that stay in your head ("Dreams are lost memories") and that are accompanied by visually beautiful sequences due to the colors, the angles, the presence of small details that add meaning to the scene. In Long Day's Journey Into Night there is a sequence that I find incredible, the whole scene in which Wan Quiwen is wearing her green dress. There are very sensual, romantic moments, there are very harmonious contrasts and seeing her walk through the tunnel, illuminated by the headlights of Luo's vehicle is a scene that condenses that chase, that search that the film talks about. There are also other incredible scenes, such as those at the beginning (shots of the city, a continuous shot of a garbage dump) or elements that seem to repeat themselves or that are introduced at the beginning and then take on greater meaning, such as the apples that the protagonists eat or the photograph hidden in a clock. And besides all that, there is another thing that makes this film memorable, from a technical point of view.

Film Review: Lola (2024)

In addition to all this and the lack of money and opportunities, Lola has always wanted to have a better life than the one she lives every day but she has a strong addiction to drugs and always has the need to want more at all times to alleviate the feeling of emptiness and fears she has for the life she leads, despite trying to get out of that hell of addiction things get even worse in her life because she is the victim of a rape and from that moment her life changes forever, as she then learns that she is pregnant and the person who abused her is someone very close to her mother, she decides to tell her what happened but she does not believe her and tells her that she just wants to put ideas in her head and that if she is pregnant is because of the life of "debauchery" that she has always led.

Review ||✨NADA MAS QUE ESO✨|| Netflix romance movie (2024)

I continue with the recent releases of the Netflix platform but this time changing the genre a little, a quieter and without much drama 😁. A romantic comedy plot but set in a beautiful region of Poland, being with this an original Polish production, which already for its locations is a visual wonder that to me, particularly draws my attention, as the total difference in culture, language, food, lifestyle and customs, so already with that we add an interesting love story with a bit of mystery and secrets, it is enough to capture my attention and give it a chance.
