Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.

The Details

Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject.

There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and five or more posts will be chosen frequently.

INTERSTELLAR The Universal Mirage of Feelings

A powerful film that makes our imagination fly so much that its third act becomes an unimaginable fantasy that many may like, while my score is an 8 for Interstellar, in the video you can listen to an extension of what I have written without spoilers plus critical elements with spoilers of the film with the time intervals already indicated for each section of the video.

Shōgun: from history to fiction | Review

Before I talk about the actors involved, I would love to note the whole issue of the script, languages, and translations within the series. If you haven't seen this series, you have to watch it in the original language, otherwise you are going to miss the most remarkable thing about this story. To put it in context, the Englishman John Blackthorne is under the supervision of Toda Mariko, who becomes his translator to establish communication between him and Toranaga. Throughout the show, we can see the subtle way in which she changed the translation and this translation was just another strategy, it's incredible.

The Boys (season 4): "Make America Super... Again!"

In this new season there are many topics to be discussed by this series, first of all it is about the power of how an excuse can hide horrendous events, all depending on the power of who commits those acts and this is another example of how this series is an excellent satire of what happens in the United States and in other parts of the world, but it is impossible not to relate the behaviors of the protagonists and other characters of this series with what politically happens in the country of the stars and stripes; with the aforementioned, watching this season in the past days made me think that it was a perfect decision because it made me think that this fourth season was fun and terrifying.

The Bikeriders | Film Review

It also shows us change. What begins with an idea inspired by a scene from a movie, becomes a lifestyle that many want to enter. Everything evolves, time passes and new blood takes over the spaces. An idea, a dream, seems to take life and become bigger than expected, losing control and where the ambition of new elements, will turn a club that was for fun, into a real criminal organization involved in all kinds of crimes. Prostitution, drugs, murders.

The Dead Don't Hurt (film): Vigo's latest foray into writing/directing/acting

I mostly enjoyed this approach: I like it because it is something different and therefore sets itself apart from every other film by using this sort of "Pulp Fiction" approach to storytelling, I got a bit annoyed at it though, because at times it is quite difficult to determine where we are in space and time. I suppose I enjoy the approach more than dislike it because well, had they told the story in a "beginning to end" sort of way, it would have ended up being just another western that basically has a similar concept to everything else out there.

Hablemos de los Emmy 2024!

The thing is that it seems that there is a favorite to take all that is within its reach but not always the fact of having many nominations is synonymous with certain victory, sometimes the academy throws some surprises that may not end up pleasing everyone. But well, we will have to wait a little less than two months to know the winners, what do you think about these nominations, do you think Shogun will win or there will be surprises? In a fair world Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Fallout should take something even if Ella Purnell is not nominated, which is rare. But we'll see.

Perfect Marriage Revenge (2023)

There were scenes, especially the first ones, that made me quite angry, especially because of the treatment the protagonist received, although, in my opinion, she was being silly, but, in a way it is understandable, we always long for love and more from those we love and if she has never felt it as such, that desire becomes so deep that you don't see the signs, no matter how clear they are. Although I must admit that your change of attitude after the regression is impressive.
