Martin Short and Steve Martin worked together with Chevy Chase in a film called "The Three Amigos", possibly for some it is not the best of the comedies, but for me it gives me a lot of laughs, I laughed as a child and as an adult I still did not overcome the scene in the bar almost at the beginning of the film; I think that seeing the work of two of the protagonists of the film in this series makes it easy to see which its first season is very good and I think that the expectations that I created for the second one, did not help me to enjoy it so much, but it is still a very good story. I haven't seen any of the third season and I'll start watching the Apple TV+ series called The Afterparty, where you also have to solve a murder, and then watch the new season of Only Murders in the Building.

I'm starting the second season tomorrow. I'm pretty curious. I do think that it might be here that it starts to lose some quality. It's hard to know where it can go from here. But I still think I'll find it enjoyable. Like you mentioned, the two actors have quite a past together and I think that alone adds much of the charm. As long as their presence together doesn't get replaced in favour of unknown characters, I'll likely enjoy it.
