I always divide this film into a family drama and a supernatural one, the first part is completely that, a family drama with a daughter who can't deal with what seems like an illness that exists in her family, but then it moves on to the supernatural and I've always believed that it gets better. Hereditary is a great film and Toni Collette, deserved all the awards just like you said, excellent review.
