There's some things about American Psycho that isn't going to appeal to everyone but I think part of the reason why it apealed to me was because I lived in big cities where these sorts of douchey businessmen really do exist. I knew a guy that was really proud of his business cards and would hand them out to anyone whether there was a reason to do so or not. These same people genuinely thought less of people that were not on their personal level. The devotion to physical fitness wasn't really there though.
Psycho was a great film yes, especially if you read into the history of it and how shocked the audiences were at the time of its release.
I don’t know how to react on this. There are people who respond like that over a business card? That's really Psycho.
it's not really the card so much as the person who is holding it. This is shown in the film.
