RE: One Battle After Another | Film Review

I started to watch this although I groaned a bit when I saw that it was 3 fucking hours long. They are definitely fishing for oscars but I hope they come up short.

I cannot stand when politics get thrown into films and that kind of turned me off pretty early on. I suppose it is shot well, it looks good and the mood is tense but things are really impractical at the very start as far as "getting away with it" is concerned.

I only made it about 30 minutes into it before I turned it off. I may return to it later but 3 hours of anything, especially potential political propaganda, is not what I consider a good time.

When they're very long, they can get tedious. I hope you finish watching it and post your opinion.

I've read online that it's been hailed as a masterpiece, but for me, it's far from it. The director has made much better films.
