Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post genial (y quizás, algo triste) sobre las 3 películas que más me dolieron cuando las vi. He hablado anteriormente que soy una persona sensible y muchas películas me hacen llorar, pero de las que hablaré hoy son las que más me dolieron y que de verdad, no las podría ver una segunda vez. Sin embargo, las considero excelentes filmes cuyo objetivo es narrar alguna realidad y conmovernos de alguna forma, y les digo que las películas de las que hablo hoy conmueve hasta al corazón más duro. Recordarlas me hizo sentir un poco la tristeza que me dio verlas la primera (y única) vez, aunque a pesar de ello, las recomiendo advirtiendo que son tristes, comencemos!
Hello again! Today I come to you with a great (and maybe, a little sad) post about the 3 movies that hurt me the most when I saw them. I have talked before that I am a sensitive person and many movies make me cry, but the ones I will talk about today are the ones that hurt me the most and that really, I couldn't watch them a second time. However, I consider them excellent films whose objective is to narrate some reality and move us in some way, and I tell you that the films I am talking about today move even the hardest heart. Remembering them made me feel a little of the sadness that I felt the first (and only) time I saw them, but in spite of that, I recommend them, warning that they are sad, let's go!
"Me llamo Salmon, como el pez; de nombre, Susie. Tenía 14 años cuando me asesinaron, el 6 de diciembre de 1976". Así comienza la película basada en la historia de Susie Salmon, una niña feliz y vivaz que tiene una vida normal con una familia que la ama. Un día lamentablemente se topa con su vecino el señor Harvey en un campo de maíz, el cual la engaña para secuestrarla, violarla y tiempo después la asesina a sangre fría. Susie va a un cielo personalizado para ella y desde ese lugar ve todo lo que sucede en la vida terrenal, observando como su familia se va fracturando luego de su muerte, y que su padre no descansa hasta resolver el crimen de su hija. En lo que va desarrollándose la película, vemos como su papá investiga a los vecinos y la policía hace varios interrogatorios incluyendo a Harvey para intentar descubrir que pasó, pero no consiguen evidencia, además de mostrar más de la vida de Susie antes de su asesinato. Pasan un tiempo sin que el crimen se resuelva y vamos conociendo lo más oscuro de Harvey además del asesinato de Susie, como la familia sigue sufriendo la pérdida y como trabajan arduamente por resolver el asesinato.
My name is Salmon, like the fish; first name, Susie. I was 14 years old when I was murdered, December 6, 1976." So begins the film based on the story of Susie Salmon, a happy, vivacious girl who has a normal life with a family that loves her. One day she unfortunately runs into her neighbor Mr. Harvey in a corn field, who tricks her into kidnapping her, raping her and some time later murdering her in cold blood. Susie goes to a personalized heaven for her and from that place she sees everything that happens in earthly life, observing how her family is fracturing after her death, and that her father does not rest until he solves his daughter's crime. As the film unfolds, we see how her father investigates the neighbors and the police make several interrogations including Harvey to try to find out what happened, but they get no evidence, as well as showing more of Susie's life before her murder. Some time passes without the crime being solved and we get to know the darkest side of Harvey in addition to Susie's murder, how the family continues to suffer the loss and how they work hard to solve the murder.
Me topé de esta película por casualidad y no pensé que fuese tan triste, pero cuando la vi me dolió muchísimo ya que retrata una cruel realidad, donde existen personas que hacen cosas horribles y hay familias sufriendo por eso. Realmente es una historia muy conmovedora donde una joven Saoirse Ronan hace que empaticemos con su papel, al igual que Mark Wahlberg al interpretar a un padre desesperado. Posee una buena ambientación con la época y ayuda adentrarnos en una trama dramática, además de que también Stanley Tucci hace un buen papel como el cruel asesino de Susie. Es de esas películas que no puedo ver una segunda vez por el hecho de que me dolió verla y de verdad, es una película que recomiendo a pesar de todo.
I stumbled upon this movie by chance and I didn't think it would be so sad, but when I saw it, it hurt me a lot because it portrays a cruel reality, where there are people who do horrible things and there are families suffering for that. It really is a very touching story where a young Saoirse Ronan makes us empathize with her role, as well as Mark Wahlberg playing a desperate father. It has a good period setting and helps us get into a dramatic plot, plus Stanley Tucci also plays a good role as Susie's cruel killer. It's one of those movies that I can't watch a second time because it hurt me to see it and really, it's a movie that I recommend in spite of everything.
Las películas que traten de mascotas me gustan mucho aunque muchas veces sean dolorosas, y esta definitivamente es la que más me dolió. La película está narrada por Ronnie, el cual cuenta la historia de su héroe favorito en su clase y trata sobre el perro de su abuelo, Hachiko. Todo comienza mostrando como un perrito de raza akita es llevado por encargo desde Japón a Estados Unidos, pero se extravía en una estación de tren siendo encontrado por el señor Parker Wilson, el cual es cautivado inmediatamente por el hermoso perrito y decide llevarlo a su casa pero su esposa se niega a quedárselo. Deciden esperar a que alguien reclame por el perrito, y luego de un tiempo la esposa de Parker nota la gran conexión que hay entre el animalito y él, por lo que al final decide que es mejor quedárselo. La relación de Hachi y Parker se vuelve más fuerte y el perro tiene la costumbre de esperar a Parker en la estación de trenes. Para no dar spoilers si no han visto la película, la historia demuestra como un perro es fiel a su amo hasta más allá de la muerte, contando una historia maravillosa y conmoviendo bastante.
Movies that deal with pets I really like even though they are often painful, and this one definitely hurt the most. The movie is narrated by Ronnie, who tells the story of his favorite hero in his class and is about his grandfather's dog, Hachiko. It all begins by showing how a little akita dog is taken on assignment from Japan to the United States, but gets lost in a train station and is found by Mr. Parker Wilson, who is immediately captivated by the beautiful dog and decides to take him home but his wife refuses to keep him. They decide to wait for someone to claim the puppy, and after a while Parker's wife notices the great connection between the animal and him, so in the end she decides it is better to keep him. Hachi and Parker's relationship grows stronger and the dog gets into the habit of waiting for Parker at the train station. Not to give spoilers if you haven't seen the movie, the story shows how a dog is faithful to his master until beyond death, telling a wonderful story and quite touching.
La película está basada en la historia real de Hachiko, un perro nacido en Odate, en el país de Japón en el año 1923, que todos los días esperaba a su amo en las vías del tren de la estación de Shibuya hasta el fallecimiento del perrito en el año 1935, incluso existe una estatua de bronce fuera de la estación como conmemoración a Hachiko. Me encantan las películas que traten de mascotas, aunque muchas duelan un poco, y algunas sean sumamente divertidas dependiendo de lo que quieran transmitir. Esta película es otra de ellas que no puedo ver de nuevo de lo mucho que me hizo llorar, es hermosa y duele un poco, ya que es una muestra de como el amor de las mascotas puede llegar a ser sumamente grande. Realmente es un filme sumamente conmovedor que le arruga el corazón a cualquiera que la vea.
The movie is based on the true story of Hachiko, a dog born in Odate, in the country of Japan in 1923, who waited every day for his master on the train tracks of Shibuya Station until the dog's death in 1935, there is even a bronze statue outside the station as a memorial to Hachiko. I love movies that deal with pets, even if many hurt a little, and some are extremely funny depending on what they want to convey. This movie is another one of them that I can't watch again because of how much it made me cry, it is beautiful and it hurts a little, because it is a sample of how the love of pets can be extremely great. It really is a very touching film that will make anyone's heart cringe when they see it.
Quizás muchos de los que también vieron esta película estarán de acuerdo conmigo cuando digo que es una de las películas más rudas que ver. La historia comienza mostrando a un niño llamado Seita agonizando del hambre en la estación de tren de Sannomiya, y antes de morir se encuentra con el espíritu de su hermana pequeña Setsuko, haciendo que recuerde todo lo que lo llevó hasta ahí. En el año 1945 Estados Unidos bombardea varias ciudades de Japón, entre esas la ciudad de Kobe donde vive Seita junto a su hermana Setsuko y su madre. Durante un fuerte bombardeo él y su hermana no llegan a tiempo al bunker de su casa, y ven como las bombas destruyen todo el lugar donde viven, ambos están desesperados en buscar a su madre, encontrándola en un lugar que fue convertido en una especie de hospital para atender a todos los heridos. Su madre está muy grave por las heridas y muere, haciendo que los hermanos queden solos en medio de la guerra. Ellos viven con su tía la cual los desprecia y deciden irse a un refugio esperando a que su padre llegue de la guerra, pero debido a la escasez Seita debe robar comida para sobrevivir. A partir de aquí comenzamos a ver como todo se pone muchísimo más difícil para los hermanos y realmente, es muy triste ver eso.
Perhaps many of you who also saw this movie will agree with me when I say that it is one of the roughest movies to watch. The story begins showing a boy named Seita dying of hunger in the Sannomiya train station, and before he dies he meets the spirit of his little sister Setsuko, making him remember everything that brought him there. In 1945, the United States bombed several cities in Japan, including the city of Kobe, where Seita lives with his sister Setsuko and his mother. During a heavy bombing he and his sister do not arrive in time to the bunker of their house, and see how the bombs destroy the whole place where they live, both are desperate to look for his mother, finding her in a place that was converted into a kind of hospital to care for all the wounded. Their mother is seriously wounded and dies, leaving the brothers alone in the middle of the war. They live with their aunt who despises them and they decide to go to a shelter waiting for their father to arrive from the war, but due to the shortage Seita must steal food to survive. From here on we start to see how everything gets much more difficult for the brothers and really, it is very sad to see that.
La película retrata de manera cruda los estragos que ocasiona la guerra, como muchos mueren no solo por el ataque directo de las bombas, sino también por la escasez y la falta de comida, muestra como las víctimas de estos sucesos intentan sobrevivir con lo que pueden, incluso siendo unos niños que deberían vivir una vida normal, jugando y siendo felices con sus familias. Cuando la vi realmente me sentí terrible por unos días al recordarla, y aunque cumple el objetivo de empatizar con las víctimas de la guerra, es una película que no podría ver de nuevo por lo dura que es. No creo que el objetivo de la película sea el de hacernos sufrir porque sí, sino que el propósito, ya que que muestra como Seita intenta hacer que su hermanita no vea de manera trágica todo lo que sucede manteniendo su inocencia, mostrando como el amor de un hermano llega tan lejos al punto de poner la vida de su hermana antes que la suya. Una película sumamente dura, pero que sigue siendo excelente, que recomiendo ver solo una vez pero con la advertencia de que realmente arruga muchísimo el corazón.
The film portrays in a raw way the ravages of war, how many die not only by the direct attack of the bombs, but also by the shortage and lack of food, it shows how the victims of these events try to survive with what they can, even as children who should live a normal life, playing and being happy with their families. When I saw it I really felt terrible for a few days remembering it, and although it fulfills the goal of empathizing with the victims of the war, it is a movie that I could not watch again because of how hard it is. I don't think the aim of the film is to make us suffer for the sake of it, but the purpose, as it shows how Seita tries to make her little sister not see tragically everything that happens while keeping her innocence, showing how a brother's love goes so far to the point of putting her sister's life before her own. An extremely tough film, but still an excellent one, that I recommend watching just once but with the warning that it really crumples the heart a lot.

Realmente estas películas me dejaron marcada ya que no me siento capaz de verlas de nuevo de lo triste que me pusieron, sin embargo, considero que cuentan de manera maravillosa una historia cuyo objetivo, es arrugarle el corazón a los espectadores. Existen muchas películas las cuales enternecen a cualquiera ya que nos traen tramas sumamente lindas pero a veces dolorosas. I hope you liked this little list! These movies really left me scarred because I don't feel able to watch them again because of how sad they made me, however, I consider that they tell a wonderful story whose objective is to wrinkle the heart of the viewers. There are many movies which make anyone feel tender because they bring us extremely cute but sometimes painful plots. Gracias por la recomendación, me cautivó la historia del perrito, sobretodo que es una historia de la vida real, definitivamente los animales tienen un encanto que los hace únicos.
La historia de Hachiko es sumamente conmovedora, es una película muy hermosa que demuestra el gran amor de las mascotas y lo leales que llegan a ser 💕
Definitivamente estas películas llegan al corazón. Solo he visto las dos primeras, y con ambas lloré (sí, aquí hay otra persona ultra sensible). Con la historia de Susie no solo ví la película, ¡sino que también leí el libro! Quizá sea masoquista, porque el libro también me causó mucha tristeza e impotencia (naturalmente hay escenas y detalles no contados en la película), pero la historia es conmovedora e invita a la reflexión.
Me quiero aventurar en leer el libro por eso mismo, me han contado que tiene detalles un poco más fuertes que la película pero que aún así logra dar un fuerte mensaje. Este tipo de películas invitan a la reflexión, realmente me parecen buenas y que logran de una excelente manera causar el impacto que quieren!

He escuchado que esa película es sumamente triste, creo que la más reciente fue la turca pero puedo aventurarme a ver ambas (sabiendo que llorare como magdalena).
