Quería hablarles hoy en esta publicación de esta maravillosa película de los años 50, que siento que nunca pasa de moda. Para mi personalmente fue la mejor época de la animación y mas hablando del señor Walt Disney que en su legado de buenas producciones nos ha dejado joyas como esta, que grandes y chicos todavía disfrutan como si hubiera salido actualmente.
Mas que legado siento que nos dejo MAGIA PURA capaz de transportarnos a esos mundos tan fantásticos como este, con sus colores, aventuras y canciones que tanto resuenan en nuestras mentes después de tanto tiempo.
Este clásico es bien sabido que también es una adaptación mas pero vuelta OBRA MAESTRA para gusto de nuestra imaginación.
La historia comienza con unos niños que se quedan solos en su casa mientras los papas se van a una fiesta, con su perra niñera NANA. La casa evidenciaba una familia de alta alcurnia y la fiesta a que iban los padres era de negocios.
Siempre mimados los niños y con una imaginación típica de la edad imaginaban historias que solo ellos podían contar. Pero WENDY la hermana mayor había escuchado historias fantásticas de un tal PETER PAN. Este personaje hace acto de presencia en los primeros minutos que se van los padres. Hasta este punto no sabemos si lo están imaginando o de verdad estaba allí junto a su fiel amiga CAMPANITA una hada muy hermosa con vestido entallado para la época.
La trama comienza cuando PETER PAN llega buscando su sombra y resulta que estaba atrapada en un mueble que tenían los niños en su recamara. Los niños no podían creer lo que veían PETER PAN en persona como las historias que contaba su hermana mayor. Al recuperar su sombra PETER dice que regresara al PAIS DEL NUNCA JAMAS. Obviamente los niños se mostraron entusiasmados para ir, PETER aceptándolos como subordinados les dio polvo de hada para que volaran como el y así llegar a su paraíso fantástico. Al llegar estaba el famoso CAPITÁN GARFIO con su tripulación de piratas bandidos esperándolos con cañonazos. Sorteando los obstáculos llegan a la casa de PETER donde conocen a otros niños perdidos que nunca regresaron a su casa.
Desde el momento en que todos llegan se desatan varias aventuras entre GARFIO, LOS NIÑOS PERDIDOS Y LOS INVITADOS, por ejemplo cuando rescatan a la princesa hija del jefe de la tribu que vivían cerca, raptandola y PETER obviamente rescantandola de los peligros en que la pusieron.
Mientras se va desarrollando estas aventuras sabemos detalles de todos que intrigan al espectador como cuando Garfio estaba jugando a la batalla con PETER y sin querer le corto la mano y se la dio al cocodrilo, desde entonces siempre lo persigue porque le encanto su sabor.
(Lo se, esto es algo muy sangriento pero era aceptable según los estándares de la época y para nada mal vistos en una animación para niños pero es suavizada no mostrando como paso y solo diciendo el relato).
Muestran también el miedo irracional de GARFIO hacia los relojes, peculiar y divertido que le agregan mas locura o fantasía a esta historia adaptada.
Esta película dura poco mas de una hora pero pienso que esta bien desarrollada dejando algunas cositas inconclusas que te hacen querer ver mas.
Pero la parte clímax de la historia es cuando GARFIO convence a CAMPANITA de decirle donde vivían PETER Y LOS NIÑOS PERDIDOS para tenderle una trampa, CAMPANITA al saber que quería matarlos con una bomba se lanza a salvar a todos dando su vida por ellos pero al final sobrevive por magia o amor de sus amigos.
Luego de una final y feroz batalla entre PETER Y GARFIO, la trama se soluciona, con GARFIO perdiendo su espada su poder y su terreno, donde es obligado a salir de NUNCA JAMAS a rastras de PETER y huyendo del cocodrilo que se lo quería comer.
Solucionado el conflicto PETER lleva a los niños a su casa dando una despedida muy ambigua, donde todavía no se sabe si fue real o un sueño con un barco de nubes alejándose y todos viéndolos con rareza como recordando viejas aventuras incluyendo a los padres de los niños que ya habían llegado.
Sin duda una OBRA MAESTRA 100% RECOMENDABLE a pesar de su crudeza en algunas escenas. CLÁSICO DE CLÁSICOS.
I wanted to talk to you today in this post about this wonderful film from the 50s, which I feel never goes out of style. The story begins with some children who are left alone at home while the parents go to a party, with their babysitter dog NANA. The house showed a high-born family and the party that the parents attended was business.
Children always pampered and with a typical imagination of the age they imagined stories that only they could tell. But older sister WENDY had heard fantastic stories from a certain PETER PAN. This character makes an appearance in the first minutes that the parents leave. Up to this point we do not know if they are imagining it or if she was really there with her faithful friend CAMPANITA, a very beautiful fairy with a fitted dress for the time.
The plot begins when PETER PAN arrives looking for her shadow and it turns out that she was trapped in a piece of furniture that the children had in her bedroom. The children could not believe what PETER PAN saw in person as the stories told by her older sister. When recovering the shadow of her PETER says that she will return to the COUNTRY OF NEVER EVER. Obviously the children were enthusiastic to go, Peter accepting them as subordinates gave them fairy dust to fly like him and thus reach his fantastic paradise. Upon arrival was the famous CAPTAIN GARFIO with his crew of bandit pirates waiting for them with cannon shots. Avoiding obstacles, they arrive at PETER's house where they meet other lost children who never returned home.
From the moment they all arrive, various adventures are unleashed between GARFIO, THE LOST CHILDREN AND THE GUESTS, for example when they rescue the princess daughter of the chief of the tribe who lived nearby, kidnapping her and PETER obviously rescuing her from the dangers in which they put her. .
As these adventures unfold, we know details of all that intrigue the viewer, such as when Hook was playing battle with PETER and accidentally cut off his hand and gave it to the crocodile, since then he has always pursued it because he loved its taste.
(I know this is something very bloody but it was acceptable by the standards of the time and not at all frowned upon in an animation for children but it is softened by not showing how it happened and only telling the story).
They also show GARFIO's irrational fear of clocks, peculiar and funny that add more madness or fantasy to this adapted story.
This movie lasts just over an hour but I think it is well developed leaving some unfinished tidbits that make you want to see more.
But the climax of the story is when GARFIO convinces CAMPANITA to tell him where PETER AND THE LOST CHILDREN lived to set a trap for him, CAMPANITA, knowing that he wanted to kill them with a bomb, launches to save everyone by giving his life for them but in the end survives by magic or love of his friends.
After a final and fierce battle between PETER AND GARFIO, the plot is solved, with Hook losing his sword, his power and his terrain, where he is forced to NEVER EVER crawl out of PETER and flee from the crocodile that wanted to eat him.
Solved the conflict PETER takes the children home giving a very ambiguous farewell, where it is still not known if it was real or a dream with a ship of clouds moving away and everyone seeing them strangely as remembering old adventures including the children's parents they had already arrived.
Without a doubt a 100% RECOMMENDED MASTERPIECE despite its harshness in some scenes. CLASSIC OF CLASSICS.
Aunque desde Niño siempre veía la secuela directa a DVD y apenas reconozco el film original siempre me ha encantado el personaje de Peter Pan, para mi es una sutil alegoría de lo terrorífico que es crecer y de los placeres de ser un niño.
