The Man Who Sold His Skin Review - Human Story

Our date today is with a new movie, but it is not speaking in English. It is not a Korean movie or a Chinese movie, but a Tunisian movie.

If you do not know Tunisia, it is a country in North Africa among the Arab countries, and this film was nominated for an Academy Award for best non-English-speaking film, and the reason will be mentioned in the topic below.

But why this movie?
We started by reviewing many exciting, interesting, dramatic and other films, but we must have a message, and this film conveys this message.

This film has a goal that we will also know through our review, which is why I liked the film, as you can download it with English subtitles and watch it.

The story

The story of this film tells about a Syrian hero living in Syria in 2011, and this boy is called Sam, for one reason, he is arrested, so he is forced to flee to Lebanon, and there he becomes a refugee, and there the focus of the film changes, as he meets a Belgian painter offering him to paint a painting on his back and display it in an exhibition in Belgium.

Here, Sam is forced to accept due to the difficult circumstances in which he lives, and also because his girlfriend has married and lives in Belgium. Under urgent circumstances, Sam agrees and moves to Belgium and there you will know what the events will turn on.

And there begins another series in the life of our hero, where he will suffer a lot, and we will remember the following without burning an impression about the film, which is what I wrote the review for.

Impression

In fact, the film is wonderful and very good, as it gives us a new idea that I did not see in many films for films that talk about human rights.

Most of the films were talking about the problem of slaves and so on, but this film had a different idea, as it embodies the suffering of the refugees who left their homelands and how they were content with changing conditions and circumstances.

And how are they being exploited by the ruthless, so the film will deliver a humanitarian message to you, which is what the film succeeded in, so it is in my opinion that 80% of the film’s evaluation is on this part, despite the weak capabilities and the technical performance is not impressive or supernatural, but by talking about the message that the film was made. For its sake, he communicates it well to us.

Therefore, the film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Non-English Language Film.

Defects

The film was directed and written by Kawthar Bin Haniyeh, and at this level, the film was daring and tells something that we all have witnessed in various parts of the world, but for the second part of the film it was not at the required level. The film tells us a realistic story and a good performance and it was already at the beginning of the film, which made me continue it, but At the end of the movie though it makes sense.

However, the second part of the film was not taken care of as required and could have been better, especially as the story became more interesting and we were looking better than that.

In the end, the movie is beautiful and it tells a wonderful human story that you can watch and enjoy the drama and drama, and you will receive the message.
