Hace unos minutos termine de ver esta ansiada película, cuando se trata de Milla Jovovich siempre estoy al pendiente de ver todas las películas y documentales donde ella tiene participación; y cuando me entere que iba a estar en una película de acción basada en un juego, me emocione mucho porque hasta los momentos nunca me ha decepcionado, inclusive si hablamos de su participación principal de Resident Evil, siendo yo un fanático de los juegos, también debo acotar que lo soy de las películas.
Pero bueno, esto no se trata de eso, sin embargo es importante para mi recalcarlo porque estoy seguro que muchos gamers están al pendiente de cada detalle cuando se intenta hacer una adaptación de un juego en una nueva película, y esta no ha sido la excepción.
Debo confesar que nunca había escuchado sobre este juego, jamás, así que debo pedir disculpas por si llego a decir algo que no es tan lógico, simplemente voy a basar mis ideas de acuerdo a lo que vi en esta película.
Primero debo hablar sobre el entrenamiento que tuvo que llevar la actriz para llevar a cabo cada una de las escenas de acción. No me sorprende que Paul Anderson le diera una tarea tan ruda a su actual esposa Milla J quien protagoniza esta película (por así decirlo). Jovovich siempre se ha destacado como una mujer fuerte, y siempre acepta esos retos donde tiene que llevar una rutina de entrenamiento muy fuerte, incluso, muchas veces ha tenido que entrenar en las instalaciones de militares junto a ellos, y seguramente para esta película tuvo que retomar ese tipo de actividades porque las escenas de peleas son muy calculadas y tienen unas técnicas impresionantes y rápidas.
Muchos dirán que solo son efectos, pero están equivocados Jovovich no es de esas que tiende a usar siempre a un doble, ella entre como si fuese a hacer las escenas con mayor acción y riesgo, no digo que no utiliza dobles, siempre lo hace, pero una forma de sentir que ella está compenetrada con su papel es entrenando como si ella misma fuese su propio doble.

But well, this is not about that, however, I need to emphasize it because I'm sure many gamers are aware of every detail when trying to adapt a game to a new movie, and this has not been the exception.
I must confess that I had never heard of this game, ever, so I must apologize if I say something that is not so logical, I will simply base my ideas according to what I saw in this movie.
First I must talk about the training that the actress had to go through to perform each of the action scenes. I'm not surprised that Paul Anderson gave such a rough assignment to his current wife Milla J who stars in this movie (so to speak). Jovovich has always stood out as a strong woman, and always accepts those challenges where she has to carry a very strong training routine, even, many times she has had to train in military facilities with them, and surely for this movie she had to resume that kind of activities because the fight scenes are very calculated and have some impressive and fast techniques.
Many will say that they are just effects, but they are wrong Jovovich is not one of those who tends to always use a double, she enters as if she was going to do the scenes with more action and risk, I'm not saying she doesn't use doubles, she always does, but one way to feel that she is in tune with her role is to train as if she were her own double.
Los escenarios donde se grabó fueron claves, a mi particularmente me ha gustado mucho, no se cual es el ambiente real en el juego, pero tomando en cuenta que los enemigos dependen mucho del territorio donde se lanzan a la ofensiva, fue acertado escoger Sudáfrica y la Ciudad de los Cabos como los principales escenarios para grabar Monster Hunter y ver luchar en una forma diferente a Milla Jovovich, pues creo que estamos acostumbrados siempre a verla con armas, aunque aquí también se ve un poco de balas y RPG, pero una de las cosas que roba mi atención son los efectos que tienen las armas tipo doble espada, pues estas tienen un efecto de electricidad que hacen que se encienden en llamas, un punto más a favor si me detengo a clasificar los armamentos usados.
La historia si que no la entendí nada, es decir todo empieza muy rápido, se deja claro que para los soldados que estaban con Artemis (Milla Jovovich) no sabían nada de lo que estaba sucediendo, y yo como espectador mucho menos, en si, siento que no debió pasar de un mundo al otro así de rápido, creo que no habían pasado 10 minutos cuando ya estábamos viendo algo importante y principal de la película que es viajar a otro mundo.
Me gusto mucho el hecho que los soldados se comportarán tal y como son soldados que están al tanto que en cualquier momento pueden morir y toman un tiempo para buscar entre sus cosas algún objeto, fotografía para recordar aquellas personas que esperan que ellos regresen con vida, aunque algunos lo tomaron muy bizarro, pero es un buen toque para esta película.
Algo que me llamó la atención es que Paul Anderson siempre ha sido un director que le gusta resaltar cada detalle, desde el ambiente, la música, la puesta en cámara, así como los efectos, pero me impresionó que a pesar de que hay personas que mueren, muy poco, por no decir nada, no se ve sangre a pesar de la forma en que algunos de estos soldados mueren.
No sé a ciencia cierta cómo son los monstruos en el juego, pero han quedado muy bien a mi parecer, tiene un toque de depredador con dinosaurios, y me hizo pensar que ese otro mundo era otra época. Pero no puedo olvidar que en una escena se dice que una tribu fuerte es la que está detrás de todos esos eventos, y que usan a esos monstruos como armas para proteger esa arma secreta que tienen en una torre, la cual permite abrir el portal entre los dos mundos.
Esta es la película donde Milla Jovovich como protagonista la acribillan, no hubo un momento de respiro para ella, me sentí un poco mal, pero recordé que solo es una película lol.

I do not know for sure how the monsters are in the game, but they have been very well in my opinion, it has a touch of predator with dinosaurs, and it made me think that this other world was another time. But I can not forget that in a scene it is said that a strong tribe is the one behind all these events and that they use those monsters as weapons to protect that secret weapon they have in a tower, which allows opening the portal between the two worlds.
This is the movie where Milla Jovovich as the main character gets gunned down, there wasn't a moment of respite for her, I felt a bit bad, but I remembered it's just a movie lol.
Sinceramente no es una película que vería dos veces, no quiere decir que sea mala, tal vez sea el desconocimiento que tengo sobre el juego y lo acostumbrado que estoy a ver a Milla Jovovich haciendo justicia a sus roles de acción.
Honestly it's not a movie I would watch twice, that's not to say it's bad, maybe it's the lack of knowledge I have about the game and how used I am to seeing Milla Jovovich doing justice to her acting roles.
Quedé con muchas dudas, y muchas cosas para mi no tienen sentido, pero el final es un tanto inesperado, nos hace pensar que no va ser la primera y última, sino que pronto van a ver más películas para continuar esta historia de cazadores de monstruos.

Vi la película hace días atrás y quede sorprendido. Mucha determinación y fortaleza para salir y enfrentar al monstruo que estaba afuera. A pesar de esto, quede ansioso por la continuación de esta película.
