Nunca en mi vida había visto una serie tan cautivadora como "Special", realmente el titulo le hace justicia a la trama y no por el hecho que se trate de una persona con cierta condición de salud, sino por el hecho de que realmente es una serie que te transmite muchos sentimientos, la esencia de los capítulos cada vez es aun mayor, y siempre te deja con ganar de mirar el siguiente una vez que terminas de ver una gran cantidad de capítulos.
La serie a mi parecer es un poco corta, más sin embargo, creo que es perfecta, porque tratan los diferentes temas de la parálisis cerebral desde puntos de vistas claves e importantes.
Una cosa es mirar a una persona con parálisis cerebral y otra es llegar un punto en que sientes que tu eres ese paciente, y realmente fue lo que sentí cuando empecé a ver esta serie, más que todo la dependencia que podemos llegar a pensar que tiene una persona con este tipo de enfermedad, pero es gratificante el hecho que se muestra otra cara de la trágica historia, pues en "Special" vemos que es todo lo contrario a lo que podría ser nuestras expectativas, bueno la mía quedo por las nubes, pues pensé que se enfocaría más en los puntos trágicos que en las cosas buenas que se pueden mirar si se intenta vivir y seguir luchando por una vida "normal".
Digo "normal" no por el hecho que él no lo sea, sino porque a pesar de su fortaleza para vivir, tiene muchas limitaciones, y es algo que se deja ver en los primeros capítulos cuando este hombre vive con su madre, quien se ha encargado toda su vida de cuidarlo tanto a él como a su madre quien también tiene una condición medica muy importante que se ve en los capítulos finales de esta primera temporada.
Never in my life have I seen a series as captivating as "Special", the title really does justice to the plot and not because it is about a person with a certain health condition, but because it really is a series that conveys many feelings, the essence of the chapters each time is even greater, and always leaves you wanting to watch the next one once you finish watching a lot of chapters.
The series in my opinion is a bit short, but I think it is perfect because they deal with the different issues of cerebral palsy from key and important points of view.
One thing is to look at a person with cerebral palsy and another is to reach a point where you feel that you are that patient, and that's what I really felt when I started watching this series, especially the dependence that we can think that a person with this type of disease has, but it is gratifying the fact that it shows another side of the tragic story because in "Special" we see that it is the opposite of what our expectations could be, well mine was sky high, because I thought it would focus more on the tragic points than on the good things that can be seen if you try to live and continue fighting for a "normal" life.
I say "normal" not because he is not, but because despite his strength to live, he has many limitations, and it is something that is seen in the first chapters when this man lives with his mother, who has been in charge all his life to take care of him and his mother who also has a very important medical condition that is seen in the final chapters of this first season.
Puedo decir que una de las cosas claves de esta serie es que no solamente se enfoca en lo que debe vivir el paciente con parálisis cerebral, sino las consecuencias que este evento puede resultar para las personas a su alrededor, pues vemos que también esta enfocado en la vida de su madre, que se podría decir ha sido un total caos por no decir que no tiene vida, ya que se enfoca en su hijo más que en su propia vida. Divorciada tal vez, pues no se deja claro en la serie, esta mujer tuvo que enfrentar toda la situación de su hijo sola, y pues toda su vida vivió sola con él, por lo que su vida amorosa estuvo totalmente inactiva.
Sin embargo, en el transcurso de la serie vemos que no solo su hijo quiere un cambio mas independiente de su vida, sino que ella también siente el deseo de poder hacer cosas que no ha disfrutado por darle prácticamente toda su vida a su hijo y madre.
En esta serie vemos también un hermoso lazo de amistad, que a pesar de las "mentiras blancas" que se generaron por confusiones y tal vez por miedo a rechazo, prospera y es muy cálida por así decirlo, más que todo porque pudiéramos pensar que para una persona con su condición y viviendo tal vez una vida "falsa" nadie quisiera sinceramente tener una amistad, pero vemos que no solo él vive una vida falsa, sino la gran mayoría de las personas que están en su entorno.

Divorced perhaps, as it is not made clear in the series, this woman had to face the whole situation of her son alone, and all her life she lived alone with him, so her love life was totally inactive.
However, in the course of the series, we see that not only her son wants a more independent change in her life, but she also feels the desire to be able to do things she has not enjoyed for giving practically all her life to her son and mother.
In this series, we also see a beautiful bond of friendship, which despite the "white lies" that were generated for confusion and perhaps fear of rejection, thrives and is very warm so to speak, mostly because we might think that for a person with his condition and perhaps living a "false" life no one would sincerely want to have a friendship, but we see that not only he lives a false life, but the vast majority of people who are in their environment.
"Special" es una serie de comedia, pues el personaje principal es un poco sarcástico y es algo que una persona en su condición haga, incluso alguien que este pasando por un mal momento e intenta que esto no se el enfoque, siempre va a lidiar la realidad con sarcasmo.

Por ahora solo esta disponible la primera temporada en Netflix y la verdad es que yo estoy muy ansioso de seguir viendo la vida de esta persona y también como se desarrolla la vida de los demás, ya que no solo él tiene una vida complicada como lo mencione antes, sino que todos tienen una historia que contar y un antifaz que quitarse del rostro para poder vivir como realmente desean, ser felices sin pensar en lo que la sociedad pueda señalarles.
For now only the first season is available on Netflix and the truth is that I am very eager to continue seeing the life of this person and also how the lives of others develop, since not only he has a complicated life as I mentioned before, but everyone has a story to tell and a mask to remove from his face to live as they really want, to be happy without thinking about what society can point out to them.
Una de las cosas que aprenderás de esta serie y por la cual te recomiendo verla, es que debes olvidar los estereotipos en cualquier ámbito de la vida, ya que esto solo intoxica nuestras vidas, las criticas siempre van a estar allí, la inseguridad también, pero hay momentos en que hay que aceptarnos tal y como somos para que la sociedad también aprenda a aceptarte y verte como alguien más que puede vivir siendo feliz tal y como es.
One of the things you will learn from this series and why I recommend you watch it, is that you must forget the stereotypes in any area of life, as this only intoxicates our lives, criticism will always be there, insecurity too, but there are times when we must accept ourselves as we are so that society also learns to accept you and see you as someone else who can live to be happy as you are.
