I played the game and actually finished it quite some years ago. The fact that I finished it (which is rare for me with games) I guess was mostly because it was an 8-10 hour game. I did enjoy it but at the same time it wasn't one that really stuck with me. I watched the trailer and it doesn't look like the story is anything like the game or either I just forgot all about it. I'm skipping the movie. Nice Review

even though I don't often play any video games I quite enjoyed Until Dawn the game. This movie was just unbearable though. Some of the gore was good and some of the jumpscares were pretty creative, but it being interspersed with some of the worst dialogue I have ever seen in any film including really cheap indie-films, is just unacceptable to me.
