Haven't heard about this series although it's a good review and a few good points your brought up.
In the case of an adaptation, one shouldn't listen to die hard fans...
I guess that's true in a sense but isn't the movie still for the fans...
Sometimes adaptations, do omit and change somethings that are somewhat essential to the plot.
Although most times diehard fans are just scared of having to watch the movie they grew up with change in their eyes😂😂
Nope. Movie is not for fans but for bigger audience
