This series is quite recent on the Netflix platform, the truth called my attention to be of superheroes; because I love them, so I was quite happy to start watching it, but at the end of this post, I'll really tell you what I thought so as not to make spoilers.
Esta serie es bastante reciente en la plataforma de Netflix, la verdad me llamó la atención al ser de superhéroes; porque me encantan, por lo cual estaba bastante feliz de empezar a verla, pero al final de este post, les diré realmente que me pareció para no hacer spoiler.
The story is divided into two timelines, the past (1929), where the plot develops in the characters that will form in the future to the union, how they managed to have their powers, apart from how they face against the great depression that the United States was going through and how it influences their search (which also led to motivate them to search). And the present of this series where the planet earth as we know it exists a group of superheroes who are recognized as the union, who fight against the villains.
La historia se divide en dos líneas de tiempo, la del pasado de (1929), donde la trama se va desarrollando en los personajes que formarán en un futuro a la unión, de como lograran tener sus poderes, aparte de como se enfrentan contra la gran depresión por que pasaba Estados Unidos y como influencia en su búsqueda (lo que llevo también a motivarlos a buscar). Y el presente de esta serie en donde el planeta tierra como lo conocemos existe un grupo de superhéroes que son reconocidos como la unión, quienes luchan contra los villanos.
It is based on a comic book by "Mark Millar" - "Frank Quitely".

■ In this union lead three superheroes mainly:
- "Utopian" (Sheldon Sampson), leader of the group, he is similar to Superman, he shoots rays out of his eyes, flies, super strength, super speed, among others, also he is the one who imposes a code that has to be followed, those who belong to this union have to follow it, which is: we do not kill, we do not lead, we inspire.
- The second leader is "Lady Liberty" (Grace), who used to be a journalist, she is similar to Utopian in her powers, although this leader is still the strongest.
- Finally we have "Brain Wave" (Walter Sampson) the third leader and Sheldon's brother.
■ En esta unión lideran tres superhéroes principalmente:
• "Utopian" (Sheldon Sampson), líder del grupo, es parecido a Superman, dispara rayos por los ojos, vuela, super fuerza, súper velocidad, entre otros, también el es quien impone un código que tiene que seguirse, los que pertenecen a esta unión tiene que seguirlo, el cual es: no matamos, no lideramos, inspiramos.
• La segunda líder es "Lady Liberty" (Grace), quien antes era una periodista, es parecida a Utopian en sus poderes, aunque este líder sigue siendo el más fuerte.
• Por último tenemos a "Brain Wave" (Walter Sampson) el tercer líder y hermano de Sheldon.
■These are the most important members although there are also the following characters, who also take an important role in the series:
- "Paragon" (Brandon) son of Lady and Utopian, he should be the heir, he is quite strong, but lacks experience, he follows his father's ideals but these are very difficult for him to maintain.
- His second daughter (Cloe), is very libertine, rebellious, daring, moody, drug addict, who has a life away from his family, has the same superpowers, which have in his family, only has a special ability, which is that when he shouts manages to make shock waves, does not get along well with his father (Utopian) as it only cares that she follows in his footsteps.
- Hatch, son of a former member of the union named Skyfox, this boy has no special ability, he only has a magic object that helps to transport him to many places, using a word or two to teleport.
■Estos son los miembros más importantes aunque también están los siguientes personajes, que también toman un papel importante en la serie:
• "Paragon" (Brandon) hijo de Lady y Utopian, debería ser el heredero, es bastante fuerte, pero le falta experiencia, sigue los ideales de su padre pero estos son muy difíciles de mantener para el.
• Su segunda Hija (Cloe), es muy libertina, rebelde, atrevida, malhumorada, drogadicta, quien tiene una vida alejada de su familia, tiene los mismos superpoderes, que tienen en su familia, solo que tiene una habilidad especial, la cual es que cuando grita logra hacer ondas de choque, no se lleva bien con su papá (Utopian) ya que solo se preocupa en que ella siga sus pasos.
• Hatch, hijo de ex miembro de la unión llamado Skyfox, este chico no tiene ninguna habilidad especial, cuenta solamente con un objeto mágico que ayuda a transportarlo a muchos lugares, usando una que otra palabra para lograr teletransportarse.
Opinión (crítica). / Opinion (critical).
The series gives us a good character development in the past, but in the future I feel that there is an excess of secondary characters that in the end did not end up explaining each one sufficiently. I can say that what hooked me the most was the plot of the past, it was quite mysterious and interesting at the same time, they should have also made a better division in the scenes in my opinion in relation to the past and present, since in the same episode is that these sequences happened, although they were not all bad.
La serie nos hace un buen desarrollo de personajes en el pasado, pero en el futuro siento que hay un exceso de personajes secundarios que al final no terminaron de explicar con suficiencia cada uno. Puedo decir que lo que más me engancho fue la trama del pasado, era bastante misteriosa e interesante a la vez, debieron también hacer una mejor división en las escenas a mi parecer con relación al pasado y presente, ya que en el mismo episodio es que pasaban estas secuencias, aunque igual no eran del todo mal.
The action in the scenes is good, it is not the best nor does it reach the same level as Marvel's, but it is acceptable, I can say that the creativity in the use of powers was excellent, how they used their powers and how they emerge; although the scale of power of each character is quite variable, it was not exactly defined.
La acción en las escenas es buena, no es la mejor ni llega a hacer igual que la de Marvel, pero es aceptable, puedo decir que la creatividad en el uso de poderes fue excelente, como usaban sus poderes y como estos emergen; aunque la escala de poder de cada personaje es bastante variante, no se definía exactamente.
The genre that dominates this series is drama, there are many dilemmas as frictions, more than all the drama is focused on the Utopian family (but I have to say that you identify and even get to feel feelings for certain characters). What I really liked were the approaches they made, they hooked me as well as made me doubt and question what was going on.
El género que domina esta serie es el drama, hay muchos dilemas como fricciones, más que todo el drama se centra en la familia de Utopian (pero tengo que decir que te identificas y hasta llegas a sentir sentimientos por ciertos personajes). Lo que me gustó mucho fueron los planteamientos que hicieron, me engancharon al igual que me hacían dudar y cuestionarme que es lo que pasaba.
You have to know that the ending was quite open and it is very obvious that there will be a second season.
Tienen que saber que el final, fue bastante abierto y es muy obvio que habrá una segunda temporada.

Hola, vi hace poco esta serie y he notado últimamente que la televisión se ha convertido en ese espacio para traer a la vida un sin fin de series basadas en Héroes desde los clásicos como LA LIGA DE LA JUSTICIA, WHASMEN, y una de las series que me ha encantado por su toque oscuro y caótico THE BOYS, entre una docena de series con el mismo aroma.
Obviamente este género simple corre el riesgo de toparse con similitudes que la condenen o la lleven al éxito, en resumen no me gustó al 100% creo que le falta distanciarse de lo que ya vemos en otras series y eso es fatal cuando inicias un nuevo proyecto, pero es fácil compararlo con otro y que de como resultado que le falta mucho para que tenga una personalidad propia.
No es mala en esencia pero le falta algo que no la haga ver tan repetitiva.

Es muy cierto, le falta un toque único, porque como dices, es muy parecido a la Liga de la Justicia; a mi tampoco me termino agradando esta serie del todo, no quiere decir que tampoco haya tenido sus partes positivas, pero igualmente deberían hacer algo que realmente te haga sentir algo nuevo y el presentimiento de no estár viendo lo mismo.

Sabes la serie THE BOYS es un buen ejemplo para hacer series de super héroes pero con un giro interesante, claro es una serie basada en el cómic original, pero es un ejemplo claro de que las cosas se pueden hacer diferente.
