It is a mini series of 7 chapters that last 60 minutes, some of them a little longer. It is based on suspense, drama, tension, a little bit of terror and reflection. Very much into religion, not only catholic, but also atheism. A bit supernatural 🤩.

Everything takes place inside the Croquet Island which has 127 inhabitants. There are two plots. The first protagonist is Rilay Finn who was born on the island and was raised there, but left as an adult, then 4 years ago for being alcoholic, he had an accident where he killed a girl, for this reason he was imprisoned and quite traumatized. After 4 years, which would be in the present of the series, he returns to the island and very changed in fact, he no longer believes in any religion although he studied many.
Todo transcurre dentro de la Isla croquet que viene teniendo 127 habitantes. Existen dos tramas. El primer protagonistas es Riley Finn quien nació en la isla y fue criado ahí, pero se fue de adulto, luego hace 4 años por estar alcoholizado, tuvo un accidente en donde mató a una chica, por este motivo quedó preso y bastante traumado. Despues de 4 años que ya vendría siendo en el presente de la serie vuelve a la isla y muy cambiado de hecho, ya no cree en ninguna religion a pesar de que estudió muchas.🤔
And on the other hand is Father Paul, who comes to the island to replace the former Monsignor of the church, Mr. Pruit. It turns out that Monsignor Paul arrives and surprises many people because they did not expect someone new and little by little he is renewing what is the belief of the Catholic church on the island, especially because he has a very charismatic and catching way of making known the word of the Lord.😌
Y por otro lado es el padre Paul, quien viene a la isla para reemplazar al antiguo Monseñor de la iglesia el, Sr Pruit. Resulta que el Monseñor Paul llega y sorprende a muchas personas porque no esperaban a alguien nuevo y de a poco va renovando lo que es la creencia de la iglesia catolica en la isla, sobre todo porque tiene una manera muy carismatica y atrapante de dar a conocer la palabra del señor.😌

Como podemos ya hay un ateo, luego el catolico que seria el Monseñor que llegan a la isla, y por otra parte tambien tenemos al Sheriff que es un poco nuevo en la isla, es Musulman, practicante de esa religion y hay dos personajes que son importantes y que aportan mucho a la trama, estos serían Erin, quien es una chica que tambien creció en la isla, pero se fue en la adolescencia y volvió ahora que esta embarazada para recuperar su vida Erin y Riley tenian una relacion muy linda en la infancia en la isla, por cual se llevan muy bien.😍
And the other character who is Beverly or Beth, as they call her a lot, who is the one in charge of the church, and many other things, is a catholic woman, very conservative and does not like any change and also, everything is related to something in the Bible and there are many other pesonajes that also appear in the plot which contain surprises, some who always lived there on the island, others who returned, and so on. Mysterious things also start to happen that may or may not be related to the island or the church. 😶
Y el otro personaje que es Beverly o Beth, como la llaman mucho, que es la que estaba encargada de la iglesia, y de muchas otras cosas, es una mujer catolica, muy conservadora y no le gusta ningun cambio y ademas, todo lo relaciona con algo de la Biblia y hay otros muchos pesonajes que tambien aparecen en la trama los cuales contienen sorpresas, unos que siempre vivieron allá en la isla, otros que volvieron, y así. Tambien empiezan a pasar cosas misteriosas que pueden estar o no relacionado con la isla o la iglesia.😶
This is a series that has a lot of work behind it, as well as the presentation of characters. It invites you to reflect on religion, accepting change, human relationships, and forgiveness. I was very moved in many parts and it makes you put yourself in the place of many characters. It's not so much horror, it's another style of fear, like helplessness, frustration, despair. It does contain a lot of long talks and a bit of drama.
Esta es una serie de la cual tiene un gran trabajo detras, al igual que la presentacion de personajes. Te invita mucho a reflexionar lo que es la religion, el aceptar cambios, el tema de la relaciones humanas, el perdon. Estuve muy emocionado en muchas partes y te hace ponerte en el lugar de muchos personajes. No es tanto de terror es otro estilo de miedo, como impotencia, frustacion, desesperacion. Eso si, contiene muchas charlas largas y un poco de drama.
