The Fountain - Movie Review

in Movies & TV Shows7 months ago (edited)

While I found the movie to have no real linear plot with an endpoint, its journey intrigued me. It was a thought stimulating movie and hours after having seen I am still thinking about it.

When I watched this film back in 2007, I was awestruck and profoundly touched by the story, the imagery, the emotionality... the fact that I was in love with a woman back then and remembering my late mother helped.

Since then, I've watched it dozens of times, and I've always found more, but not because the film itself was thought that way, I think, but because Aronofsky, Jackman and Weisz tapped into such a profound source of wisdom, that it keeps giving and giving. After I started my own spiritual journey, this film changed entirely for me, many of the images shifted in meaning. I'm glad you liked it, and I encourage you to delve into it!
