Este tema ya debió ser tocado por más de un usuario, aun así, me gustaría comentar mi experiencia viendo esta película y mis impresiones sobre la misma.
He de decir que con esta película Disney se ha desviado del camino que ha estado siguiendo desde hace un tiempo, volviendo a sus raíces donde la magia, la música y el amor siempre resultaba ser la clave para resolver los problemas de los personajes.
Durante esta reseña, intentare dar la menor cantidad de spoilers posibles para no arruinar la experiencia a quienes aún no hayan visto este filme.
Dicho esto, comencemos:

Encanto es una película animada de fantasía musical producida por Walt Disney Pictures y Walt Disney Animation Studios. Dirigida por Byron Howard y Jared Bush, codirigida por Charise Castro Smith y escrita por Bush y Castro Smith.
Esta es la historia de los Madrigal, una familia que ha sido bendecida por el Encanto, una fuerza misteriosa la cual ha llenado su hogar con mágica y le ha dado cada integrante de la familia un don excepcional, don que es utilizado en beneficio y protección del pueblo que se ha formado bajo el ala de esta familia.
Todos poseen un don especial, excepto Mirabel, quien al ser la única no especial ha sido renegada de su familia. Pero cuando la magia se encuentre en peligro y todo apunte a que Mirabel es la culpable ella será quien busque respuestas, para así salvar la magia y demostrar que ella también pertenece en esta familia.
Siendo sincera, esta película fue una gran sorpresa para mí, ya que en lugar de emplear la narrativa y técnicas usadas en sus últimos filmes animados regresa a los errores cometidos en el pasado. Cosas como romper en canto de la nada o enamorarse sin siquiera conocerse son cosas de las que Disney peco en su época dorada (a esto le llamamos la formula clásica de Disney), esta película regresa en el tiempo para cometer los mismos errores, sí, pero vistos desde un ángulo diferente.
Muchos pueden no estar de acuerdo con esta opinión pero Mirabel me parece una muy buena protagonista, desde el principio demuestra aceptación ante su situación, hasta parece no importarle pero a medida que avanza la trama nos damos cuenta que las cosas no son como aparenta, constantemente se le recuerda que ella es la única en su familia que no tiene nada en especial más allá de pertenecer a los Madrigal y vemos como esto le pesa y ha ido dejando cicatrices emocionales en ella. Aun con todo esto Maribel demuestra ser una persona muy noble, nunca ha envidiado a ningún miembro de su familia o tenidos problemas con ellos (más allá de la típica enemistad que tiene con su hermana Isabela) ama a su familia y por eso se esfuerza en ser mejor cada día con el objetico de pertenecer a esta.

Como se dijo anteriormente, esta película usa la formula clásica de Disney, pero invertida. Los protagonistas de sus películas suelen ser personas excepcionales que aspiran a grandes cosas en la vida en un mundo donde son desplazados y desvalorizados. Mirabel es todo lo contrario a esto, he aquí la pregunta ¿Qué sucede cuando todos a tu alrededor son especiales y tu careces de eso que todos admiran?
Y del otro lado de la moneda tenemos lo que conlleva ser especial y que grandes expectativas y responsabilidades estén constantemente sobre ti. Los ejemplos mas explícitos de esto son Luisa e Isabela ¿Qué implica tener la protección y desarrollo de un pueblo sobre tus hombros? ¿Cómo continuar manteniendo una imagen perfecta frente a esta sociedad?
Cada uno de los integrantes de esta familia tiene una responsabilidad con este pueblo, que ellos mismos construyeron, una responsabilidad que no es fácil de llevar.
Creo que lo que mas se le puede criticar a esta película es su falta de profundización en los personajes, todos los personajes comparten el escenario de forma equitativa, esto en realidad no es un mal aspecto, pero al hacerlo se perdió la oportunidad de desarrollar a cada uno de ellos de forma individual. Por otro lado, también está el hecho de que casi toda la trama se desarrolle dentro de la casa, esto es una observación muy personal, pero cuando vi el tráiler espere que la aventura de Mirabel se desarrollara fuera del pueblo donde viven, muy contrario a este pensamiento los escenarios vistos en el tráiler están ubicados en diferentes partes de la casa Madrigal.
Ahora finalizado el contexto y mi opinión sobre ciertos aspectos la película pasemos a la producción de la misma, que es un tema bastante interesante.
Producción y proceso creativo.
Algo que siempre se le ha criticado a la televisión estadounidense es la representación a los latinos e hispano hablantes. Y es que constantemente relacionan Latinoamérica con México, si, México forma parte de Latinoamérica el problema radica en que parece ser el único país de habla hispana para los estadounidenses (obviamente esto no es algo general, pero si recurrente).
Edna Liliana Valencia from Panamerican World
Parte del éxito que tuvo la película se debe a que Disney se tomo el tiempo de hacer su tarea, investigando debidamente sobre Colombia y buscando asesoría, en este caso fue Edna Liliana Valencia, periodista y presentadora de televisión colombiana, quien les guio en el proceso creativo, caracterización y conformación del cast. No es una producción simplemente basada en lo que se encuentra en Wikipedia.
Hablando de la parte visual, Encanto lo hizo muy bien, la ambientación, su paleta de colores tan vibrantes y coreografías bien elaboradas la convierte en una película visualmente agradable y entretenida.
Pregunte a conocidos colombianos y muchos de ellos concuerdan que Encanto representa muy bien la cultura colombiana, desde el vestuario hasta las tradiciones y comidas. Me encantaría hablar mas en profundidad de esta cultura, pero soy venezolana, por lo cual no tengo los conocimientos necesarios para hacer una observación mas profunda con respecto a esto.
Lin Manuel Miranda from Chicago Tribete
Junto esto debemos destacar su banda sonora, la cual fue puesta en manos de Lin-Manuel Miranda y todo sabemos lo bien que resulto esta decisión. Miranda ya nos había deleitado con Hamilton y su participación en Moana por lo cual mis expectativas con respecto al soundtrack de esta película eran muy altas y esas expectativas se cumplieron. Cada numero musical en esta película es más grande que el mundo, con letras y ritmos muy pegadizos.
Para finalizar este artículo, daré una conclusión final.
Encanto es un cliché, pero un cliché muy bien hecho con una trama interesante, personajes carismáticos y canciones con letras y ritmos únicos. Recomiendo mucho ver esta película, definitivamente no se arrepentirán.

This topic should have already been touched by more than one user, even so, I would like to comment my experience watching this movie and my impressions about it.
I have to say that with this movie Disney has deviated from the path it has been following for a while now, going back to its roots where magic, music and love always turned out to be the key to solve the characters' problems.
During this review, I will try to give as few spoilers as possible so as not to ruin the experience for those who have not yet seen this film.
That said, let's get started:

Encanto is an animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios. Directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, co-directed by Charise Castro Smith and written by Bush and Castro Smith.
This is the story of the Madrigals, a family that has been blessed by the Encanto, a mysterious force which has filled their home with magic and given each member of the family an exceptional gift, a gift that is used for the benefit and protection of the people who have formed under the family's wing.
Everyone possesses a special gift, except Mirabel, who, being the only non-special one, has been disowned by her family. But when magic is in danger and everything points to Mirabel being the culprit, she will be the one to look for answers, in order to save magic and prove that she also belongs in this family.
To be honest, this movie was a big surprise for me, because instead of employing the narrative and techniques used in their last animated films, it goes back to the mistakes made in the past. Things like breaking up in song out of nowhere or falling in love without even knowing each other are things that Disney sinned in its golden age (we call this the classic Disney formula), this movie goes back in time to make the same mistakes, yes, but seen from a different angle.
Many may not agree with this opinion but Mirabel seems to me a very good protagonist, from the beginning she shows acceptance of her situation, she even seems not to care but as the plot progresses we realize that things are not as they seem, she is constantly reminded that she is the only one in her family who has nothing special beyond belonging to the Madrigals and we see how this weighs on her and has been leaving emotional scars on her. Even with all this Maribel proves to be a very noble person, she has never envied any member of her family or had problems with them (beyond the typical enmity she has with her sister Isabela) she loves her family and that is why she strives to be better every day in order to belong to it.

As previously stated, this film uses the classic Disney formula, but inverted. The protagonists of his films are usually exceptional people who aspire to great things in life in a world where they are displaced and undervalued. Mirabel is the opposite of this, here is the question: What happens when everyone around you is special and you lack what everyone admires?
And on the other side of the coin we have what it takes to be special and have high expectations and responsibilities constantly hanging over you. The most explicit examples of this are Luisa and Isabela. What does it mean to have the protection and development of a people on your shoulders? How do you continue to maintain a perfect image in front of this society?
Each one of the members of this family has a responsibility to this town, which they themselves built, a responsibility that is not easy to bear.
I think what can be criticized the most about this film is its lack of depth in the characters, all the characters share the scenery equally, this is actually not a bad aspect, but in doing so the opportunity to develop each of them individually was lost. On the other hand, there is also the fact that almost all the plot develops inside the house, this is a very personal observation, but when I saw the trailer I expected Mirabel's adventure to develop outside the town where they live, very contrary to this thought the scenarios seen in the trailer are located in different parts of the Madrigal house.
Now finished the context and my opinion about certain aspects of the film let's move on to the production of the movie, which is a quite interesting topic.
Production and creative process.
Something that has always been criticized to American television is the representation of Latinos and Spanish speakers. And is that constantly relate Latin America with Mexico, yes, Mexico is part of Latin America the problem is that it seems to be the only Spanish-speaking country for Americans (obviously this is not something general, but if recurrent).
Edna Liliana Valencia from Panamerican World
Part of the success of the film is due to the fact that Disney took the time to do their homework, properly researching Colombia and seeking advice, in this case it was Edna Liliana Valencia, Colombian journalist and TV presenter, who guided them in the creative process, characterization and casting. It is not a production simply based on what is found on Wikipedia.
Speaking of the visuals, Encanto did very well, the setting, its vibrant color palette and well-crafted choreography make it a visually pleasing and entertaining film.
Pregunte a conocidos colombianos y muchos de ellos concuerdan que Encanto representa muy bien la cultura colombiana, desde el vestuario hasta las tradiciones y comidas. I would love to talk more in depth about this culture, but I am Venezuelan, so I don't have the necessary knowledge to make a deeper observation about this.
Lin Manuel Miranda from Chicago Tribete
Along with this we must highlight its soundtrack, which was placed in the hands of Lin-Manuel Miranda and we all know how well this decision turned out. Miranda had already delighted us with Hamilton and his participation in Moana so my expectations regarding the soundtrack of this film were very high and those expectations were fulfilled. Every musical number in this movie is bigger than the world, with very catchy lyrics and rhythms.
To end this article, I will give a final conclusion.
Encanto is a cliché, but a very well done cliché with an interesting plot, charismatic characters and songs with unique lyrics and rhythms. I highly recommend watching this movie, you definitely won't regret it.

Interesante, informada y muy honesta reseña. La verdad hace tiempo perdí interés en las películas de Disney, y a esta no le ha ido muy bien en las críticas, así que no al tenía en la mira, pero has despertado mi curiosidad, sobre todo porque la cultura colombiana es una que llama mucho mi atención.
