RE: MOVIE REVIEW: The Silence || If Bird Box and A Quiet Place had a baby [ENG-ESP]

in Movies & TV Shows2 years ago

To me it sounds like Birdbox and A Quiet Place did have a baby because this movie bears some resemblance with them. I don't think it should be so much of a surprise to see a film that feels the same with another. I mean, that's basically how the industry is. Just the same story over and over again with a couple of tweaks here and there.

Ever since the pandemic, for me, I no longer think that whatever happens in movies stays in the movies.

This statement really struck me because I sort of think like this sometimes. This movie, for example, shows creatures that are unrealistic but how do we know for sure that they are. There's just so much that we know about our planet. There are many places that we have never explored. Scientists are busy looking for life on other planets but how do we know for sure that there isn't a whole civilization in the deepest seas. Just sayin' 😅

Anyhoo, I've seen the trailer of the film and it looks good. I may decide to see it. It's spooky month so what the heck.

Great review man.

That really is the industry in one sentence. Many of the works we see now are spurred from similar ideas, if not identical. We just see remakes up and down. And it's all good and fine, as long as there are some forms of originality in those works. Like some original thought embedded...

The thing is that on this same earth we stand, there are many places that the human eyes have not seen, let alone walk. So, how much more for outer space and all? There are sure going to creatrues we have never seen or heard of. Who knows how dangerous they may be. or even how close they acually are?

Thanks for reading, man.
