Marvel (and to the lesser extent DC) is going all over into the fan service lately. I stopped watching superhero movies and TV series because of that. I want good, fascinating stories, not washed up fanservice.

Usually if writers deviate from source material, it gets really bad.
That is the reason for so many failures, many say, it is difficult to find today something attached to the original in Marvel, there are so many changes that it is tiring
