Raya and the last dragon
First of all I must say that: I LOVED Disney never ceases to amaze with everything they produce.
This time I saw the film directed by Don Hall and Carlos Lopez Estrada, which is about the kingdom called Kumandra, which due to human disputes was divided into 5 kingdoms. It is based on how Raya tries to unify the kingdoms as one, as they all complement each other.

Antes que nada debo decir que: LA AMÉ de verdad que Disney no deja de sorprender con todo lo que produce.
En esta ocasión ví la película dirigida por Don Hall y Carlos López Estrada, que trata del reino llamado Kumandra, que debido a disputas humanas se dividió en 5 reinos. La misma se basa en cómo Raya trata de unificar los reinos como uno solo, ya que todos se complementan.

I must admit I hadn't seen a Disney film for a long time and seeing the perfection of the intro is refreshing and immediately teleports you into their world. Stunning as always.
If you've made it this far and haven't seen the film.... vote the post down and go see it (laughs) I don't want to give you spoilers.
From my point of view the logic of the thematic is as follows:
Dragons symbolize all goodness, love and good deeds, while Druuns are the result of quarrels, bad feelings and hatred.
Why is that? Because since the disputes between humans began, the Drunns arose and dragons are incapable of thinking with those evil feelings, for this reason Sizu never stopped believing in humanity and although he sacrificed his life he was confident that there was still hope.
Much of the film shows how everyone has evil instincts and that is why the Drunns came to all the lands.
Debo admitir que tenía mucho tiempo sin ver una película de Disney y ver la perfección de la intro es refrescante e inmediatamente teletransporta a su mundo. Impresionante como siempre.

Desde mi punto de vista la lógica de la temática es la siguiente:
Los dragones simbolizan toda la bondad, amor y buenas acciones, en cambio los Druuns son el resultado de disputas, malos sentimientos y odio.
¿Por qué? Porque desde que se iniciaron las disputas entre humanos, surgieron los Drunns y los dragones son incapaces de pensar con esos sentimientos malignos, por esta razón Sizu nunca dejó de creer en la humanidad y aunque sacrificó su vida confiaba en que todavía había esperanza.
En gran parte de la película se vé como todos tienen instintos malignos y por eso los Drunns llegaron a todas las tierras.

For example, before everything started, this is a scene where Raya's father wanted to make peace with all the kingdoms, because this way they can complement each other.
But one of the kingdoms, fang... took this advantage to find the dragon power that kept them away from evil, greed made them break the stone and make it uncover all the evil back in the world.
All for not trusting and not wanting to share with others.
Por ejemplo, antes de que todo iniciara, esta es una escena en donde el padre de Raya quería hacer la paz con todos los reinos, ya que de esta forma se pueden complementar unos con otros.
Pero uno de los reinos, colmillo... tomó esta ventaja para encontrar el poder de dragón que los mantenía lejos de la maldad, la avaricia los hizo romper la piedra y hacer que se destapara toda la maldad de nuevo en el mundo.
Todo por no confiar y no querer compartir con los demás.

In this scene, is when Raya finds the last Dragon and I think it's a very good choice of Sisu's graphics, because even though she was the one who fused the stone and she herself understood that her powers were not as good as her brothers' (because of her humility) she didn't lose faith that she could find the solution and save the world.
En esta escena, es cuando Raya encuentra el último Dragón y me parece muy buena elección de los gráficos de Sisu, porque a pesar de que ella fué la que fusionó la piedra y ella misma entendía que sus poderes no eran tan buenos como los de sus hermanos (por su humildad) no perdió la fé en que podía encontrar la solución y salvar al mundo.

As for the development of the story, I found it very good as they had to go through each kingdom in search of the pieces of the magic stone, and in them they started the alliances with each of the kingdoms without realising it.
I also find it very curious, that in the previous encounter (the second image of the film) all the leaders were average adults, but in this case they were children, babies, monkeys, sons and even a warrior father. And among themselves they took care of each other regardless of their background.
So much so, that even though the leader of the fang kingdom survived, although she was given the option to save the whole world, she decided that only her kingdom would benefit from what she already had... In contrast, her daughter did believe that the world could be better, which is why they say that the young are the future of tomorrow.
The next capture is already the end where all the dragons are saving Sisu, I thought it was a very good film, refreshing, detailed and well worked. I highly recommend it.

En cuanto al desarrollo de la historia, me pareció muy buena ya que tuvieron que pasar por cada reino en búsqueda de los pedazos de la piedra mágica, y en ellos iniciaron las alianzas con cada uno de los reinados sin darse cuenta.
También me parece muy curioso, que en el encuentro anterior (la segunda imagen de la película) todos los líderes eran adultos promedio, pero en este caso eran niños, bebes, monos, hijos y hasta un padre guerrero. Y entre ellos mismos se cuidaron entre sí sin importar su proveniencia.
Tanto así, que a pesar de que la líder del reino colmillo, sobrevivió, aunque se le otorgó la opción de salvar al mundo completo, decidió que solo su reinado se beneficiara con lo que ya tenía... En cambio, su hija sí creía en que el mundo podía ser mejor, por esto es que dicen que los jóvenes son el futuro del mañana.
La próxima captura ya es el final en donde todos los dragones están salvando a Sisu, me pareció muy buena película, refrescante, detallista y bien trabajada. La recomiendo perfectamente.

Casualidad que la vi hace un par de días y concuerdo con tu opinion sobre esa peli. Es realmente maravillosa. Una gran lección sobre el impacto positivo que puede tener en nuestros amigos y las personas en general el que depositemos nuestra fe en ellos aún cuando no crean en si mismos. Así como enfatizan también el perdón. Y en cuanto a la animación y efectos me parecieron fantasticos. Muy buena reseña @tripode!:D

Nice! It's been a while I watched animated movie by Disney. They are the best, in my opinion.
I see the movie is about dragons and druns, finding pieces of the magic stone and alliances of kingdom. That's an adventure! I love adventures.
I'll have to download this movie and make out time this coming weekend to watch it. 😊

Una muy agradable y vivaz presentación de este filme de Disney, que logra despertar el interés en verla y disfrutar de ella. Por lo que nos comentas, es una historia poblada de elementos mítico-fantásticos, como se ha acostumbrado en las recientes producciones de Disney, y, por supuesto, mucha acción y aventura, aparte de la cuidada estética propia de esa empresa cinematográfica. La vi anoche, es excelente,es una de las mejores que he visto este año, la disfrute mucho, la animación, la acción, los personajes, la historia sobre la confianza, el prejuicio, la tolerancia, las creencias, el valor, una historia completa.
Me gustó todo lo que dice sobre lo que representan los dragones y los druins, una representación de lo bueno y lo malo de la sociedad.
Vi tu poooooooooooosssssst hahahhahahaha, me alegro mucho que te haya gustado!! A mi también me gustó, porque normalmente ponen a los dragones como seres diabólicos y malos, en esta ocasión eran lo más bueno de la peli!
