Es un gusto para mi volverlos a saludar despues de tanto tiempo y que mejor manera que trayendoles una reseña sobre una de las peliculas que he visto recientemente- Espero les guste y se animen a verla pronto.

La ciencia ficción es de mis géneros favoritos en el mundo cinematográfico, sobre todo cuando se trata de temas intrigantes y que de cierto modo pueden llegar a ser posibles, como por ejemplo el origen de la vida o el por qué como seres humanos somos los únicos seres vivos con conciencia; temas que te dejan mucho sobre qué pensar y que en el cine aprovechan muy bien para crear historias fantásticas.

_{Science fiction is one of my favorite genres in the world of cinema, especially when it deals with intriguing topics that in a way can be possible, such as the origin of life or why we as human beings are the only living beings with consciousness; topics that leave you with a lot to think about and that movies take advantage of very well to create fantastic stories.}

La película sobre la que hoy les voy a hablar tiene un poco de eso y me encanta además que lo hayan hecho con una historia conmovedora. El tiempo es una gran incógnita para la ciencia porque es un tema del cual no se tiene una verdad certera y de la que la imaginación deriva una gran cantidad de posibilidades, como por ejemplo, viajar en el tiempo.

_{The movie I am going to talk about today has a little bit of that and I love the fact that they have done it with a touching story. Time is a great unknown for science because it is a subject about which there is no certain truth and from which the imagination derives a great number of possibilities, such as time travel.}

Existen muchísimas películas ganadoras que se volvieron una eminencia con este tema, como por ejemplo “volver al futuro” donde se crea una máquina que junto con la fuerza de la velocidad hace posible la idea de llegar a una época distinta al presente y luego están otras como “Lucy” donde usan una droga sintética que a causa de una sobredosis despierta el máximo potencial del cerebro permitiéndole a la conciencia humana conocer el origen de todo viajando a los inicios de la vida en la tierra. Son películas que dieron mucho de qué hablar y que a mi me fascinaron por completo.

_{There are many winning films that became an eminence with this theme, such as "Back to the future" where a machine is created that together with the force of speed makes possible the idea of reaching a different time than the present and then there are others like "Lucy" where they use a synthetic drug that because of an overdose awakens the maximum potential of the brain allowing the human consciousness to know the origin of everything traveling to the beginning of life on earth. They are movies that gave a lot to talk about and that fascinated me completely.}

En Paratemporal encontramos algunos parecidos con la historia de Lucy, ya que también se usa una droga sintética que como efecto secundario mezcla el presente con cualquier época del pasado; sería como la versión en la que la droga que crearon en Lucy se hubiera logrado comercializar y comenzamos a ver las situaciones que causaría el consumo de esta droga en pequeñas cantidades dentro de la sociedad.

_{In synchrony we find some similarities with Lucy's story, since a synthetic drug is also used that as a side effect mixes the present with any time in the past; it would be like the version in which the drug created in Lucy would have been marketed and we begin to see the situations that would cause the consumption of this drug in small quantities within society.}

La historia de esta película se presenta con dos paramédicos compañeros de turno y mejores amigos como protagonistas, que comienzan a encontrarse con escenas un tanto extrañas en cada llamada de emergencia a la que acuden. En un inicio solo parecen ser jóvenes drogadictos y descontrolados, pero curiosamente, en cada una de las escenas existen un par de coincidencias fuera de lo común: situaciones extremadamente inexplicables como la picadura de una serpiente exótica en una habitación de hotel o un cuerpo descuartizado con cara sonriente en un elevador, y un sobre destapado con el mismo nombre “SYNCHRONIC”, un nuevo alucinógeno legal.

_{The story of this film features two paramedic buddies and best friends as the main characters, who begin to encounter some strange scenes in every emergency call they go to. At first they only seem to be young, out-of-control drug addicts, but curiously, in each of the scenes there are a couple of out-of-the-ordinary coincidences: extremely inexplicable situations such as an exotic snake bite in a hotel room or a dismembered body with a smiling face in an elevator, and an uncovered envelope with the same name "SYNCHRONIC", a new legal hallucinogen.}

Las escenas con las que se encontraban estos paramédicos cada vez se volvían más atroz, sin sentido e inimaginables, incluyendo la desaparición de la hija de 18 años de uno de ellos, situación que llevó al otro a buscar por cada tienda de drogas de la ciudad específicamente a comprar todos los sobres de Synchronic que hubieran disponibles, en un intento desesperado de evitar que hubieran más desgracias por ingerir este alucinógeno.

_{The scenes that these paramedics encountered became increasingly atrocious, senseless and unimaginable, including the disappearance of the 18-year-old daughter of one of them, a situation that led the other to search every drug store in the city specifically to buy all the sachets of Synchronic that were available, in a desperate attempt to avoid further misfortune from ingesting this hallucinogen.}

Para su suerte logró encontrarlas todas pero cuando pensó que la pesadilla había acabado surgen situaciones que lo llevan a usar la droga, descubriendo lo que realmente causaba ingerir Synchronic, entendiendo a su vez lo que le había pasado a la hija de su mejor amigo y dándose a la tarea de encontrarla por sí mismo.

_{Luckily he managed to find them all, but when he thought the nightmare was over, situations arise that lead him to use the drug, discovering what really caused him to ingest Synchronic, understanding in turn what had happened to his best friend's daughter and setting himself the task of finding her on his own.}

En lo personal siento que es una película bastante buena, por su puesto que con la actuación de Anthony Mackie al menos se sabía que entretenida iba a ser, pero además la trama tiene la cualidad de ser enigmática, siempre manteniendo al espectador intentado entender lo que está sucediendo y con el suspenso de esperar lo inesperado.

_{Personally I feel it's a pretty good movie, of course with Anthony Mackie's performance at least you knew it was going to be entertaining, but also the plot has the quality of being enigmatic, always keeping the viewer trying to understand what is happening and with the suspense of waiting for the unexpected.}

Sin embargo, me hubiera gustado aún más que a la historia se le hubiera dado un cierre científico y no tanto personal, algo como lo que pasó con Lucy, que sin dejar de ser emotivo el final tuvo sucesos completamente científicos que me dejó esperando saber más sobre lo extraordinario de la vida y del tiempo.

_{However, I would have liked even more if the story had been given a scientific and not so much personal closure, something like what happened with Lucy, which while still being emotional the ending had completely scientific events that left me wanting to know more about the extraordinary of life and time.}

Aun así, no le puedo quitar mérito al buen desenlace que tuvo esta película y el buen rato que la pase viendola, no podría esperar menos de Universal Studios. Recomendada cien por ciento.
