The Good Place (El buen lugar) es una serie de televisión estadounidense. Se emitió desde el año 2016 hasta el 2020 cuando finalizo después de cuatro temporadas. La serie la vi en netflix, no sé si aun esté disponible. La trama es la siguiente: En the good place veremos las vivencias de un grupo de personas que han muerto y por alguna razón llegan al “lugar bueno”, que es un paraíso diseñado para recompensar a estas personas por sus buenas acciones realizas en vida.
The Good Place is an American television series. It was broadcast from 2016 until 2020 when it ended after four seasons. I watched the series on netflix, I don't know if it is still available. The plot is as follows: In the good place we will watch the experiences of a group of people who have died and for some reason come to the "good place", which is a paradise designed to reward these people for their good Deeds done in life.
Todo comienza a tornarse extraño cuando uno de los personajes descubre que debe haber un error, que en definitiva no pertenece a ese lugar, debido a que en vida nunca hizo buenas acciones.
La serie te traslada inmediatamente al universo planteado en esta ficción del mas allá. El primer episodio es una introducción hecha a la perfección para que te quedes pegado viendo más y descubras que es lo que va a ocurrir. La historia sigue a diversos personajes, con personalidades unicas, con emociones diferentes que logran vender la idea de que realmenten estan en el mas allá.

The series immediately takes you into the universe of this afterlife fiction. The first episode is a perfectly crafted introduction to keep you glued to watch more and find out what's going to happen. The story follows several characters, with unique personalities, with different emotions that manage to sell the idea that they are really in the afterlife.
En el paraíso diseñado para los que lleguen como recompensa por sus buenas acciones en vida los personajes tendrán un montón de lujos y cosas para disfrutar la estadía en el mas allá. También como parte de alguna especie de regla cada persona que llegue al “buen lugar” tiene que encontrar su alma gemela (establecida por el destino) para ser emparejados y así pasar el resto de la eternidad juntos.
En el paraíso todos contaran con el apoyo de una especie de robot o ser celestial llamado Janet diseñada con todos los conocimientos del mundo, o mejor dicho del universo entero, absolutamente todo ella lo puede responder. Sin embargo hay ciertas reglas, lo cual crea ciertos límites entre lo que la ficción de esta serie puede realmente responder acerca de todo. Janet es el personaje que está presente en casi todos los momentos donde la serie saca a relusir todo su potencial, debido a como ella aborda temas filosóficos y éticos, así como con su humor, muy inteligente por cierto, logra que los espectadores creen vínculos con cada personaje.
In the paradise designed for those who arrive as a reward for their good deeds in life the characters will have a lot of luxuries and things to enjoy the stay in the afterlife. Also as part of some sort of rule each person who arrives in the "good place" has to find their soul mate (set by fate) to be paired up and spend the rest of eternity together.
In paradise everyone will have the support of a kind of robot or celestial being named Janet designed with all the knowledge of the world, or rather the entire universe, absolutely everything she can answer. However there are certain rules, which creates certain limits between what the fiction of this series can really answer about everything. Janet is the character that is present in almost every moment where the series brings out its full potential, because of how she addresses philosophical and ethical issues, as well as with her humor, very intelligent by the way, she makes the viewers create bonds with each character.
El sentimiento transmitido por los personajes en general es muy humano y se siente como un aire fresco ver la exploración de toda la interrogante detrás de: ¿que hay en el mas allá? The good place viene siendo lo más cercano a tener una respuesta acertada de esa pregunta y logra contar una historia entrañable abordando temas tan complejos como este de forma entretenida y fácil de entender sin ni si quiera ofender a nadie. Es impresionante todo lo que abarcan las cuatro temporadas de principio a fin y a eso hay que agregarle uno de los mejores plot twist que una serie pueda tener, el cual ocurre al finalizar la primera temporada, simplemente alucinante.
A través de los personajes la serie refleja por así decirlo qué es lo que hace que una persona sea buena o mala, y cómo nuestras acciones tienen consecuencias, y como estas acciones están siendo calificadas constantemente sin nosotros saberlo. Ya que la única manera de enterarse es muriendo.
The feeling transmitted by the characters in general is very human and it feels like a breath of fresh air to watch the exploration of the whole question behind: what's in the afterlife? The good place comes the closest to having an accurate answer to that question and manages to tell an endearing story by tackling complex issues like this in an entertaining and easy to understand way without offending anyone. It is impressive all that the four seasons cover from beginning to end and to that we must add one of the best plot twist that a series can have, which occurs at the end of the first season, simply amazing.
Through the characters the series reflects so to speak what makes a person good or bad, and how our actions have consequences, and how these actions are constantly being graded without us knowing it. Since the only way to find out is by dying.
De esto se trata la serie The good place, dilemas morales y éticos en el mas allá. Un viaje espiritual lleno de aprendizaje que realmente sabe satisfacer cada interrogante con muy buenos argumentos, se siente como si ver esta serie te brinda una perspectiva diferente de toda la existencia.

Esta serie es altamente recomendada, incluso cuenta con buena calificación en el portal web de rottentomatoes y Si llegaste hasta aquí es porque quizás te intereso saber un poco más. Y es que no hay algo que no haya dicho
The good place es la serie que necesitabas ver en tu vida sin saberlo. Cuando menciono que la serie explora temas complejos es porque es cierto. Hay situaciones que no había visto en otro material similar y lo que lo hace especial es que en esta historia todo será visto desde todos los ángulos emocionales.
Se agradece mucho la paleta de colores que escogieron los encargados, ya que las tonalidades pasteles entre otros tonos vibrantes, logran el efecto moderno, fresco, y atemporal para que cada episodio se disfrute al máximo como ya mencione desde varios ángulos.
Otro motivo para ver the good place es que solo son cuatro temporadas, la serie ya finalizo. No tienes que preocuparte porque la vayan a cancelar a mitad de camino.

Me gusta que mencionas lo de la paleta de colores porque siento que fue un punto muy bien acertado de la serie. Aunque la empecé a ver hace un tiempo, y realmente me gustaron los personajes y la trama, no sé porqué pero me aburrí y no pude terminarla, es raro porque era bastante relajada, pero simplemente no pude. Pero debería darle el cierre 😌
Estimada @gigi8 mi sugerencia es que le des la oportunidad a la serie. Te sabes sorprender, quizás no sea tu estilo pero a medida que avanza se van tocando temas más interesantes, y ni hablar de la conclusión final de toda la trama.
Lo de la paleta de colores lo menciono porque es importante, realmente logra un efecto placentero y relajado ver la serie. Es cuestión de prestar la atención necesaria.
Soy reiterativo, está serie es la série que no sabías que tenías que ver.

AMO esta serie, creo que es de mis comedias favoritas, de hecho hace poco estuve tentadísima a verla por tercera vez. Los personajes están tan bien hechos y tienen dilemas tan humanos, que es imposible odiarlos, por más tontos e indecisos que sean. A lo de la paleta de colores no he había prestado atención, pero tienes mucha razón, es muy alegre, a pesar de que no todo lo que pasa en pantalla lo es.
