Greetings, @Movies&Tvshows community…

Scooby-Doo ….
What’s the plot about?…
Personal opinion
As I mentioned earlier, the actors did a fantastic job recreating their animated counterparts. Matthew did a brilliant job bringing Shaggy to life—capturing the voice, the slouching posture, and the character's mannerisms—and achieved something nearly impossible: making a cartoon character feel organic in live-action. Linda struck a great balance between the resentful intellectual and the group's true brilliant mind, adding layers to a character who was previously quite one-dimensional. As for Scooby—while I liked him back then, I feel the CGI hasn't aged very well; consequently, the decision to use a more realistic-looking version in the prequel was a very smart move.
Positive points…
- Perfect casting: The cast's chemistry and Matthew Lillard's portrayal of Shaggy were outstanding.
- Self-referential humor: It skillfully pokes fun at the animated franchise's clichés and stereotypes.
- Aesthetics and nostalgia: It perfectly captures the music, fashion, and pop essence of the 2000s.
- Snappy pacing: It is an entertaining comedy that never becomes dull or tedious.
Negative points…
- Dated visual effects: The CGI for Scooby-Doo and the creatures looks poor and unrealistic.
- Absurd plot: The demonic ritual storyline can come across as too far-fetched or superficial.
- Uneven character development: At times, Fred and Daphne overshadow Velma and Scooby in terms of narrative weight.
The score I give it…

Scooby-Doo ….
¿De qué va la trama?…
Opinión personal
Puntos positivos…
