No sabia de que trataba, pero la habia guardado para poder verla antes de dormir y me fui con un sabor amargo. Desde el inicio vemos una familia que parece rota, y que hay una ausencia que a estas dos personas les sigue doliendo, y pronto vemos como sus sombras que podemos denominar como recuerdos van rondando con su pasado no tan profundo, nostalgico de aquella ausencia que los transformo en supervivientes de un dolor insoportable
I didn't know what it was about, but I had saved it so I could see it before going to sleep and I left with a bitter taste. From the beginning we see a family that seems broken, and that there is an absence that continues to hurt these two people, and soon we see how their shadows that we can call memories go around with their not-so-deep past, nostalgic for that absence that transformed them into survivors of unbearable pain.
Al entrar a la habitacion vemos de que se trataba de la ausencia de un hijo/a, y que aun no lograron superar ni como padres ni compañeros esa ruptura tan dolorosa, vemos como siguen los recuerdos rondando el hogar, la musica que ella escuchaba, la habitacion llena de vacio, un dolor que aun sigue
Upon entering the room we see that it was the absence of a child, and that they have not yet managed to overcome that painful breakup, either as parents or colleagues, we see how the memories continue to haunt the home, the music that she listened to, the room full of emptiness, a pain that still continues.
Luego de ver como logran avanzar sobre el dolor, vemos como en medio del tiroteo en una escuela, algo que lamentablemente pasa mas seguido de lo que nos gustaria, la hija les manda a los padres "Si algo me pasa, los quiero", su ultimo aliento virtual antes de la tragedia que me dejo frio
After seeing how they manage to move on from the pain, we see how in the middle of a school shooting, something that unfortunately happens more often than we would like, the daughter sends her parents "If something happens to me, I love you", her last virtual breath before the tragedy that left me cold.
Espero que vean estos 12 minutos que lejos de ser ficcion, viene a mostrar la cruda realidad de muchas familias que tienen miedo constante cuando los niños acuden a las escuelas en una sociedad podrida y con mucho odio, sea racial, clasista, en un estado ausente y que afronta la violencia como en el caso de Charlie Kirk quien protuberantemente en vida demostraba como esto es parte de la vida sin buscar soluciones verdaderas... espero que puedan verlo
