Good day Magic nerds! I've been having a blast brewing all kinds of deck with the new thunderjunction set. There are lots of brews to be had this tine around, and I'm here to show you one I'm currently working on
WARNING- This brew is not complete. The win-rate is under %50 and I know I will be improving the deck for awhile. It's a really fun concept though, so we will sort this deck out one day!
This is Crime Time baby!
We are trying out a handfull of new cards here,with the main one being Forsaken Miner. The idea for this brew was paring the Miner with Bloodfeather, letting our burn spells bring back both creatures from the yard at instant speed.
We have shock, play with fire, and lightning strike for burn. I've added in the new Slick Sequence spell to try aswell. Slick Sequence is a cool pairing with my #1 fav (legal) saga Founding the Third Path, as it will trigger the draw when used on its first verse.
Since we are doing alot of crimes and returning creatures from the yard, 2 more new cards can be tested out here. Satoru will draw a card every time we return a Miner or Bloodfeather. Marchesa can get us more cards for 1 mana every time we crime
Corpse appraiser fits here too, as targeting your OP's yard is also a crime <3
Thats about what I have going on for this deck right now. One thing to note is we have alot of Rouges in this deck. They fall under the new Outlaw Mechanic, and this brew could still find a way to use that.
Now that is a foxy brew. Always been a big fan of Grixis colors. Lemme know how that works in standard.
