Hive Analytics initial proposal is running out in 18 days and this is a continuation for December and most of 2026. The proposal remains the same, 100 HBD/day for 365 days.
What is Hive Analytics?

The best way to understand it is to check it out or read the announcement post.
In short, Hive Analytics serves to provide everyone transparent data of the Hive blockchain from voting, content, financial, and governance.
I created Hive Analytics beta to showcase the platform and provide an introduction 24 reports. Hive Analytics now has 38 unique reports with almost 6000 executions in just the first month. Over 300 unique users currently use Hive Analytics on a regular basis.

I have almost 200 reports on my private analytics system, many of these are being ported to Hive Analytics to make them publicly available to everyone.

Hive Analytics currently has 38 unique reports, here are some of my favorite ones.

What makes Hive Analytics so great?
Hive Analytics was built meticulously to be the best way to serve analytics on the Hive blockchain.
All reports are aggressively cached using Redis so most users experience near instant loading of reports.
Intelligent searching of all reports makes it really easy to find anything you are looking for.

All activity is monitored and used to provide useful features like trending reports so you can see what reports are popular.

Even your own activity is tracked so you can easily find your favorite reports without having to track them yourself.

The site supports both Light Mode and Dark Mode, but we all know you all want to use Dark Mode.

Future of Hive Analytics
If funded, my plan is to continue to migrate reports to Hive Analytics from my private proprietary back-end system. Many of these are Anti-Abuse tools to find and identify abuse.
One of the main focuses of Hive Analytics is not only to bring complex data to users in an easy to read format, but also do so extremely quickly. Over 50% of queries are cached, this would be more like 90% but some queries are individual and it isn't likely everyone is going to look at someone else's curation rewards.
I plan to bring back Personal Dashboards and make them part of Hive Analytics.
I also want to allow for csv/markdown export for many if not all reports. This would allow you to analyze the data differently or easily drop it in a post if you want to talk about it.
At some point I would like to run two copies of Hive Analytics with load balancing between them if the demand gets higher. Right now there is one instance of Hive Analytics.
Proposal details
The proposal is simple, I am asking for 100 HBD/day for the next 365 to support maintaining and improving Hive Analytics. The final proposal will be for 101 HBD/day to cover the 1 HBD fee for proposals over 60 days.
The duration is for 365 days (1 year), and will be submitted yearly to keep it going.
Is there any plan to open source this project, could a version become an optional part of the standard haf suite in the future ?
Are you intending to keep charging 36k a year indefinitely to host this ?
Its a good tool, I may vote, but in general we need to work towards proposals actually returning value to the dao/chain in the long term. I'm not sure what the path to profitability or self-sustainability looks like for a tool like this, I doubt enough people would directly pay for it to fight abuse like you have. GL man
At some point I would consider it, but I'd have to remove the anti-abuse reports as I do not want them publicly accessible to anyone. I am not sure it can really become part of HAF as it is a combination of a lot of different technologies. Some of the reports will not be possible through HAF directly. Many of them do use HAF and Hivemind now.
It's hosting, maintenance, and adding new reports.
There really isn't any, there is no profit or self sustainability that is possible from such a tool. As for abuse fighting, I never was funded for that and it is something I did on my own since I got here, but I plan to step down, Hive Watchers has this they are funded again.
Gah! I had so hoped Hive would start to grow. Now I am sad.
.. Also you couldn't cover the 1 HBD proposal fee so you're charging an extra $365 ? 🤔
I could, but I am expecting a lot of partial funding if it is even funded at all.
I vote for this and i want to ask you something..
How to adjust my Krampus?
You can power up or not sell.
So my
Author 177.94
Curation 158.75
If i power up higher of this i will be ok?
Krampus is just a metric. If you want it better your author and curation rewards should be equal or less than your HP.
Thank you for clarification
Any project that aims to bring order to the chaos of blockchain and loose data is welcome. I wish you every success!
I'll do my civic duty first thing tomorrow morning.
I'm visiting this tool quite a lot and find it useful indeed. Would love to see new reports added. I cast my support!
@themarkymark Good day, excuse me, but why do you keep downvoting every post I make? I ask because out of the entire Hive community, you're the only one using all your accounts to do this. I create my own content, and when I use third-party material, I include the sources. So I don't understand why you're doing this.
Wow....great project
Not sure it will bring traffic.
It is one of those faucet things. You can claim the exain token and then use tokens to promote posts on the site.
I think I am the only one to advertise a post. Everyone else cashing. lol

It's about transparency.
Hi, @themarkymark.
Off topic: For info my witness is running again after the update, I would appreciate if you could re-vote it. Thanks!
Excuse me, sir, I wanted to ask why you vote on my blog. Since you use all your accounts, you always reduce everything to 0, but I've been wondering for 15 days why you do this. Out of the entire Hive community, you're the only person who does this. Why? @themarkymark
