How soon? I think with Project Blank, comments could take the lead. I'd be surprised if more top level posts were produced than on hive.blog / peakd though.

top posts can be from alts and bots. Check alexa rank, for a better idea of real users amd traffic. Not perfect, but better.

True. But it's likely a bot would have nothing in the metadata for the app - unless someone like peakd are trying to inflate their numbers! :O
