We're marching towards the end of the month and as afar as I understood correctly, we're gonna be able to claim the @ragnarok and @threespeak airdrops. It is said that we're not gonna put our hands on the whole stack in a shot, but instead we're gonna be given a percentage of the "deserved tokens" each month.
I love airdrops and I guess there's no one in this space that doesn't love them. I admit though that I haven't made any fortune from them, but the ones from AMPL and UMA that I got in 2021 have really made a slight difference to my personal finances.
From what I understood, the tokens we will get for @threespeak can be staked to secure the network and there will probably be some APY on that while the @ragnarok ones will be used for playing the game, some will definitely sell the NFTs as soon as they get them and it's supposedly that we can rent them as well.
I didn't held much HIVE at the moment of the snapshot so I'm not expecting too much airdrops entering my wallet, but I am 100% I'm not going to sell any of these. I see these tokens as the UNI, some have received as airdrops back in 2020 and sold them at a dollar or two just to see the token doing 10x in just a few months.
Hence I will HODL for some good time and also trying to make a passive income out of these. I will either play the game with the NFTs for Ragnarok or rent them, but DEFINITELY WON'T BE SELLING. In the case of the LARYNX tokens, or however are these called, that we're getting from @threespeak, I would definitely stake them if possible and earn some more on them.
Passive income is something I haven't persuaded yet on Hive and it's about time to do that. I feel like I need something like that as well and also a bit of diversification to my portfolio. What about you, what are you gonna do with your Ragnarok and Threespeak airdrops?

I think there will a lot of people who won't, they'll either forget or they are absentee accounts on automation. I think the unclaimed NFT's will go back to the project. It will be interesting to see if someone tracks the unclaimed NFT's, can give us some insight into the real "active" users.

Probably will be looking at it from an investor/trader perspective, but yes, I'll try it and see how it goes.
I will likely be holding as well. I don't really use 3Speak that much but if there is a possibility of earning some passive income there I will likely just go that route. Especially with and impending bear market heading our way.

I will put the new miners and NFTs at work. Not sure what it will take in Ragnarok to earn quite a bit, but will give it a try. Still, time is something I quite don't have on my hands so maybe these projects will be providing a passive earning channel as well.

In the case of the NFTs you get 1 for 110 HIVE that you held at the moment of the snapshot.

With LARYNX I don't know what I'll do, I still don't have enough information to make a decision, so I'll wait and see. In the case of Ragnarok, in addition to being a player, I am a collector, so I will not sell my Nfts unless there is a Fomo madness.

There will only be 3.3M Ragnarok NFTs. Scarcity is real and selling some before the game comes out and we see their true value is out of the questions for me.
3Speak is a different story where I may or may not sell a small portion but only to get more Hive if the price seems right.
Any other scenario... I'll be holding as if nothing happened.

It'll be a while I think. First there's going to be a private test net, then a public one which will simulate a full year long round of ragnarok. Voting determines when the game is ready to be launched.
Testnet should be coming in a month or two from what I heard and read but it will last for a year before the official launch.
It's gonna take a while before it gets opened up to outsiders I guess but if it is as good as it sounds the wait will be worth it for sure.

Claim for sure but with Ragnarok it's going to depend on how many cards I get and what I can do with them or if I enjoy the game. So for the first week or two it's going to be playing and testing to see what I need and if it's worth holding on to everything. Play by ear kind of thing.
As for threespeak I'll be stacking that as I have a few content creators I've onboarded over to use the platform already so it just makes sense to keep it and support it so I can support them and others here on hive. Honestly though I want to get as many nodes up and running as possible to help out the network.

I think I will try to buy some more after the airdrops. I am sure the token price will be a bit of a rollercoaster at the start. So I think a good strategy is to sell a few and buy back in when the token price will inevitably fall again.
In the long term I will be holding more than I am airdropped. That is my plan.

Definitely holding the Ragnarok. Some of the LARYNX I might sell for HBD.
I'll claim Larynx drop monthly. Not sure if it needs to be staked to mine SPK. Will have to look more into that when the time comes. I intend to let the miners... mine. :) Apart from that, not sure, since I'm not using the video platform to create content. I MIGHT be interested to lend disk space for decentralized video storage, if this will make sense for an oldish laptop that is actively used.
About Ragnarok, there will be an initial claim (only one, not monthly), where we'll receive NFT claim tokens, not the actual NFTs (those will come later). These claims can be traded. I won't sell, that for sure, because I intend to at least try out the game to see if I'm good enough to not lose money on it.
I honestly can't say, I may sell a few 3speak but likely not as I use and support the platform, As for the NFTs I am not sure if I will sell them. If it is a hard learning curve or very time-consuming I'll be renting or selling them.

I am a small account so I will not get much. For the threespeak tokens, I'm sure gonna hold them, stake them. Ragnarok is a trickier question. If I get enough to try playing (probably not), I will hold onto them for a while to see how it goes. Otherwise I might dump them (or wait for a while to see how prices go), I'm already invested in 2 games and I don't have the time or founding to go deeper in another.

Definitely a HODLer. Depending on how many of the Ragnarok a person is going to actually need to compete, I may buy some more.
3Spk I just plan on hodling for a long time. If it does what I think it can do, I think it will be a home run both in and of itself, and for the entire Hive ecosystem as a whole. I'm definitely not going to want to miss out on that.

I was actually just thinking myself if I lost out on the token airdrops. Glad to read here that I haven’t! I think I’ll sell half and keep half. The game seems okay but it seems incredibly complicated and one that I don’t think I’ll personally enjoy. The 3 speak token should be good hopefully!
