Chainsaws and Roses

If I remember correctly, Michael Saylor has always called Bitcoin as sound money and a hedge against inflation and turmoiled times. Well, it looks like it isn't as such and seems to be highly correlated with the stocks market instead. Fluctuating in tandem with the establishments money making tools.

Michael Saylor's not the only one expecting Bitcoin to be that magic internet money that would fix everything and that's where our understanding is flawed. Bitcoin doesn't fix shit by itself and there's no god that would magically change the world so that it fixes what we were expecting it to fix.

It is in our hands, attitude and behavior to be the gods "fixing anything on this planet". As long as there will be a bank account and a tax threat between your Bitcoin and the groceries you get home from the supermarket, we're not using Bitcoin as we should.

By Bitcoin I'm not referring entirely to it and more at the industry as a whole.

The governance powers all around the world are proven to be corrupt and working for hidden leaders instead of the masses that actually pay them and have voted them. Hence the masses need to wake the fuck up once and for all. The abuses that happen against Canadians in Canada are threatening to become permanent and these abuses go even further.

We are at the make it or break it point. If we don't start using the damn tech as it was supposed to be used for our liberation, like spending the damn bitcoins, moving funds via blockchain more often, creating crypto businesses, exchanging goods for crypto and creating large crypto communities all over the world, we're still swimming in the same muddy waters.

Taking money out of the banks would be a good idea to start with as well.

As long as we "deal with bitcoin" through a bank account and pay taxes for that, we're far away from fulfilling Satoshi's vision and that's probably the main reason why bitcoin is still correlated with the stock market. The mentality around Bitcoin is still "stock market like".

We need to change that so we can change the world. Leaders as Trudeau prove to have become pure breed fascists and it's time to take our countries and freedoms back "by force". And what of a big force Bitcoin could be...

Thanks for attention,
Adrian

True words, but as long as we'll be led by governments will have limited freedoms. The alternative might be a private ruled country where the citizens would pay for common services, but nevertheless, I think you need to participate with some kind of tax nevertheless.

That would be a way better option. We currently have privileges, not freedoms.

I am obviously a big fan of crypto but am also hopeful that the current system doesn't have to be obliterated in order for Crypto to be what it needs to be. This slow and steady adoption is agonizing for early adopters for sure but the other edge to that sword is that it provides entry levels for new people and those who still need to build their stake.

I like the constructive and progressive approach to pulling crypto into early majority and am augmenting my real life marketing company with a crypto strategy and offering to help onboard people locally.

So, here's hoping the coupling of crypto ups and downs with the stock market is a sign or more legitimacy in the public eye and BTFD!

Well met Aces! Thanks to @ervin-lemark for indirectly introducing us!

It's great that you are able to blend your business with crypto. Crypto should be a must for every business owner that treasures sovereignty.

I don't really think BTC is the answer to everything but it is definitely one of the best cryptos used to transfer value. Too many of our systems are centralized and it won't change until this changes. Fiat isn't really going away until people change and they take a long time to change (unfortunately).

Fiat can stick around but doing something similar to what El Salvador did would highly benefit us.

I think it will be hard to make taxes disappear but I agree with you that crypto can be a transforming force in our society.

If they can print money out of thin air, what's the purpose of taxes...

we're far away from fulfilling Satoshi's vision

You are right we need to stop regulation from penetrating the world of crypto.
