There has always been the gap between the poor and the rich and I guess the 3% that own 97% of everything that can be owned has always been a reality. The problem with the poor is that they don't manage their finances as well as the rich. When I see folks in my country with $600 income per month buying $1,000 iPhones I realize how dumb and easily to manipulate the poor are. Most of them own things they don't afford and buy things they shouldn't buy.
