As a side note, ETH seems to be having quite spicy fees lately, no wonder it doesn't rank not even near to HIVE, where we don't have basically any fee. There are so many blockchains, when it comes to speed, ease of use and functionality that are much better than the top ones.

That is true although I watched it long enough to know that the PoW seem awry.
Ethereum is usually below Hive which, considering all the DeFi transactions taking place, I find it hard to believe. DeFi is enormous, Metamask with over 1 million users alone.
And somehow they can only surpass a million transactions? I find that difficult to swallow.
