The Bitcoin Mining Chamber. Sitting on a "Gold Mine"...

in LeoFinance2 years ago

Crypto mass adoption is talked by all sort of crypto related communities and media outlets, it is a topic that's on the menu all day every day since the early days of blockchain technology. It is, however, already happening, the way I see it, but it is not as palpable as many of us would imagine it to be.

I am still quite baffled about the amount of people that are already in crypto, but being so low profile about it. This thing is no longer something exclusive, some sort of a geeks club and an anarchism movement. It has taken over the world and it's doing it so quietly...

I just came back home from a meetup I had with a local friend and a neighbor that I haven't seen in I guess over a decade. Funny how time flies and how old we've got...

What's even funnier is that every road now leads to crypto. After recalling on all sort of mundane shit the word cryptocurrency was mentioned and all of a sudden my neurons got triggered like a police dog in a junk yard searching for coke.

The man that I got to see after so many years is in crypto as well, he's even recommended me to invest in Futura Finance as he's heavily invested in it, but I don't know anything about the project, thus I haven't jumped in already. It's amazing, though, how deep some quite regular individuals are in crypto and "how weird the faces of crypto" are.

He was also telling me during that one hour that we've spent at the cafeteria that some other local guy whom I know, that's moved from our town for a while is also in crypto, he has a bit over $100K invested, which is not negligible money in my country, and he's also mining crypto. A matter a fact his plan is to use solar panels to expand the business...

Quite next level shit, I'd say. I wouldn't have imagined this guy being in crypto or mining it, but here we have him doing that and that's mass adoption for me. Some business man using a small chamber in his office building mining crypto is dope as fuck.

Worth mentioning is that this guy used to work for a cleaning company with a friend of mine just twenty years ago. I bet he wasn't in crypto when I started, but one year in crypto equals to ten in real life and that's "somehow awesome". Now, from what he(the neighbor) was telling me, Russia is heavy on mining Bitcoin.

According to his saying, him being in the possession of this piece of information from a Russian friend, the second largest oligarch in Russia has pretty much transformed a small town in a mining facility. These guys are not stupid, money making machines will never loose exceptional opportunities. While plebs are taking credits for cars, jewels and vacations, the first category has these with plebs money.

What most of the crypto heads are waiting for years to happen when it comes to mass adoption is something that's supposedly happening over night in the form of some cascading governmental approvals and acceptance for bitcoin, but the truth is the adoption happens the other way around. It starts with us, the plebs, the anarchists, hívers and the the DOGE army ;).

Mass adoption is already here and it's not leaving.

I've loved the talks I got about crypto today, I'm highly excited about the future of it, especially when observing how immensely wide distributed crypto is these days and how much we've evolved as a movement... I'm none the less immensely bullish on Hive, cuz you don't need a separate chamber to "mine it", you just got to show up and spend some time in here and you will for sure earn some "free tokens" which will "turn into gold" in the not so distant future.

We're sitting on a gold mine here, but some are waiting for authorities to "value and approve it" when it's on us to do so. Have a great day, peeps, and see you to the next one.

Thanks for attention,
Adrian

Sometimes we don't even know how many people are adopting crypto, if we don't get to do research on wallets. I think things like deplatforming, drives adoption even more than the good talks of Crypto.

Some are in it just for the money though.

That's the entry point for many people.

Crypto is already gaining ground all round the world and anyone that wants to be rich in future through crypto should try and start gathering coins down now.

Pretty much yeah...

Always great when you find someone else speaking the same crypto language and exchange thoughts and also opportunities. I went today with a friend for a coffee and most of the time I've tried explaining to him from where a cryptocurrency gets its value and how it works at the protocol level, thus more and more people are interested in the domain if not already invested in it.

I'm not that tech savvy, but I try my best.

The economic crisis and the war makes some people look for safe heavens and others for ways to make money faster than prices rise. While crypto may or may not be a safe heaven at this time, it certainly has the potential to outgrow the rampant inflation we see all over the world. So, I believe this will be a driving force to crypto adoption.

For the moment it isn't really a safe heaven.

No it isn't in the traditional sense of the safe heaven meaning. But if you think of it as funds that travel with you wherever in the world you go, as long as you have your keys and internet access, some of them out of the reach of controlling entities, then maybe it is a sort of safe heaven, just not necessarily in a sense of keeping their value while everything else goes down.

I don't know but it does look like most people have not switched over. Even if they are invested in crypto, it tends to just be treated as stock. They don't really look into things and it's probably why they are low profile about it because they don't care too much.
