I see so many people complaining about the price of Hive. Why is it not increasing? Then I see people trying to make transactions on ETH and paying gaz fees that are almost as high as the transaction. I believe that measuring everything according to its price is just wrong.
If I had the choice to build a game on ETH or HIVE? What would I do? Would I choose the place where transactions are free and done in 3 seconds or somewhere where my game wouldn't work because of the gaz fees? Now take this for DEFI. If I want to create a product for the masses, would I still go to ETH?
Once people stop considering Crypto as an investment but rather as a means of earning and building, I believe that Hive has all the features to be the place to be in 2021.
HIVE will have a moonshot based upon what is being built, not as much speculation. Thus, it comes down to activity and adding more to the system.
As for what you point out, there are a couple projects that are seeking to provide the same capability for DeFi as Ethereum but without the enormous transaction costs.
