After I posted about Alien Worlds a week ago I didn't have much time to spend on the game but I did stick around to see what else is going on on the Wax blockchain. I noticed they had pinned a tweet on their Twitter (which I recently took a break from but habits die hard so I keep browsing it now and then still) about a new NFT trading card game that's launching there soon which brought back some nostalgia from the old Super Nintendo days.

Buying packs will be available in 6 days, the catch here is that you'll only be able to purchase them with credit cards, not crypto (wax). I'm still pretty excited about this, this is a legit partnership between Capcom and Wax and after seeing how well NBATopShot did with their licensed NFT Moments I think these will do pretty well too, even though Wax isn't as famous as ETH for NFT's it surely is more usable now considering the fees ETH is suffering from at this moment in time. Not to mention NBATopShot was also on another completely new blockchain called Flow which only recently started trading on exchanges like Kraken.
Another exciting thing about this Sale is that these first editions will only be sold once, for 24h, and depending on how many get sold that's the amount of cards that will exist of these. On top of that they have this crafting system where the packs will only consist of "build cards" which you have to combine two of to get "class card" with one of six rarities depending on your luck. The build cards are then burned and the class cards can be upgraded to higher levels (sort of similar to @splinterlands cards) where the previous level class cards are also burned from existence. Now again, don't take this as financial advice, but a 24h window of one time sales + mechanics to increase scarcity is a pretty good deal if Street Fighter ends up being popular, keep releasing new editions and series over time and maybe end up doing something else down the line with these assets than just collecting and trading them. The sky is the limit when it comes to NFT's and we're just getting started.

If you already have a Wax Cloud Wallet(which is easy to sign up for - just remember to back up your keys), you can claim some free cards now on a daily basis up until the Sale.

If you're not a fan this could be some easy $ down the line as well for just clicking a few times and forgetting about it, Dhalsim is at this point in time already trading for $0.12.

I’m not quite hyped over this one. I don’t really care for just collatable unless I'm missing somthing. It’s a strange choice they made for not including crypto purchase.
I tried to get up early enough this morning for R Planet’s basic elements pack sale. I didn’t have enough Wax yet to buy any. They are now all sold out.
It’s nice to see at least Wax has quite a few things going on these days. It should be an interesting time over there.
I’m still farming away on Allen Words. Not much to show for it. I’ve had no NFT drops in over a week now. Seems a lot of people are now farming.
WAX is for sure doing some really awesome things when it comes to NFT's and they don't have the ridiculous gas fees that ETH does. They also have some really strong corporate partnerships. I think there is going to be some Marvel and maybe even Star Wars IP coming out in the future. I will probably try to snag some of these myself if I get the chance. I went pretty heavy (for me) into Alien Worlds and it has really paid off for me.

Nice, same thing goes for the Flow blockchain, or Dapper Labs, they seem to want to tackle UFC now after NBA.

Well that's pretty bad ass honestly I like this! Brings back some old childhood memories but keeps it fresh with crypto. Do they own the rights though to be using street fighter characters?
I'd say so as they did say they have a partnership with Capcom so I imagine it's all licensed and legit.
