These ideals can work if everyone knows how it works. We also need to factor in the academic literacy and financial literacy of the people. They don't know what is up and most don't even want to shake foundations because the current structure benefits them the most. If change is to happen, its the middle class that decides that as the poor don't really have much to offer but numbers. Why the middle class? You don't see any successful long term revolutions if the poor gets to lead. It's always the one in the middle that knows both sides of the spectrum and gets to decide the flow. The problem is also gatekeeping the middle class by their own vices. I do agree, the best cages are the ones that give pleasure.
