With a credit card one just keeps going with no real clue or accountability on the amount.
This is what I'm mostly afraid of. The records can be electronic and an error can happen anytime. It's hardly a common occurrence but there is some form of empowerment knowing that you can account for all your finances. It's good that your partner also shares the same goals. If my wife Faith was a spendthrift it would be much harder to manage things; We do most things together though and after thirty three years together make it all work pretty well.
