    All a matter of perspective. You also have to be careful that you don't lose your margins by "training" your clients to only buy from you when there's a discount.

    Yes that affect the profit margins, and can lead to an inconsistent revenue stream and difficulty in forecasting sales if the businesses offered much of discount to customers, but yet, it help business to grow in short-term

    offering a discount is a great idea for business, by reducing the price, business will be able to bring more customer to purchase products or services and this can ultimately leading to growth and profitability to the business.
