I’ve always been a fan of 1inch exchange.
I discovered it at the end of December, just 3 days after the deadline for their airdrop (yep, I got nothing X°D) but still, it was a nice discovery.
I rarely do swaps on Ethereum, but when that happens, I always reach out to 1inch instead of Uniswap.
I just love their interface because:
- you can see immediately an estimation of how much the tokens that you are swapping are worth (before and after the swap)
- you can see an estimation of gas fees you will be paying
- these amounts automatically refresh every few seconds, so are always up to date
Add the best deal in transaction fees that you can get on Ethereum, and you’re set!
That’s why I was kind of excited when I read they released their own iOS wallet and I downloaded it right away.
I didn’t transfer anything in it yet so I didn’t try any swap, but I think I can give you a nice overview about it.
At the moment, it of course includes the basic wallet functionalities, as store and transfer your assets on both Ethereum and BSC blockchains, and it provides an integrated swap functionality using the above-mentioned 1inch classic interface, so you will be able to swap directly from your wallet.
Also, based on your preferences, you can use a light interface theme (default) or the more traditional dark 1inch theme.
It doesn’t have an integrated browser so, if you need to use any aApp, you can do it from your PC if it supports WalletConnect, scanning a QRCode from 1inch Wallet to authorize the dApp. That's why, before moving any funds there, it is probably smart to check if the dApps you imagine yourself using support interactions via WalletConnect.
They are planning to include additional DeFi functionalities in the future, so I'd definitely stay tuned and wait to see what they are working on.

Just dropped by to say I downloaded this a few days ago and connected an old Jaxx Liberty wallet and found some stuff I thought I’d lost, and some stuff I don’t even remember acquiring. I’m not sure if it was airdropped or if I just forgot about it but none the less I have more than I thought.
I’m looking forward to getting some use out of it. The interface is beautiful, but it’s worth it just to see what goodies it might pull from the ether (no pun intended).
Totally unrelated, this would be a good post for Proof of Brain.
Thank you for your feedback!
I have to admit I never posted anything on Proof of Brain because I'm not really sure of what it's appropriate and what it isn't :D
Maybe I will give it a shot with this post! Thanks!
