After a lengthy four-hour journey to Tortuguero, the group awoke at the crack of dawn. The early morning hours were dedicated to kayaking, an activity meant to maximize wildlife sightings during the calm light of dawn. The magical surroundings of the expansive national park provided a stunning backdrop. Wildlife enthusiasts were treated to glimpses of various species, both diurnal and nocturnal, before embarking further into the vibrant beauty of the park.
