Part 7/15:
The device’s form factor draws heavily from the classic 3DS, with analog sticks, D-pad, ABXY buttons, shoulder triggers, and triggers designed for modern gaming. The hall sensor analog sticks are superb—no drift, excellent tension, and responsive.
The D-pad is a membrane style, precise but low-placed—meaning a slight grip adjustment is necessary for comfort, especially for D-pad-centric games. The ABXY buttons are responsive, well-sized, and silent, positioned without interference risks. Shoulder buttons are responsive but differ from the low-profile bumpers of old Nintendo hardware; instead, they are flared with analog triggers, offering better control at a cost of increased size and pocket footprint.
