Transforming Through Fitness: A Personal Journey with Parkinson's Disease
Ten years ago, my life was very different. At age 62, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Along with my diagnosis, I faced the physical symptoms of being overweight—specifically, a protruding belly and skinny arms—coupled with an active lifestyle that did not equate to fitness. Fast-forward five years, many would see Parkinson's as a dire challenge, and in many ways, it indeed is. However, rather than letting it consume me, I decided it was time to take control of my situation and reshape my life for the better.
