Part 3/7:
Originally the living room, the space needed updating but was not in terrible condition. The investor decided to renovate this area into an open-plan living and kitchen space while maintaining the Victorian features that characterize the flat. This choice created an inviting environment, integrating the modern living experience into a historic framework.
The Kitchen and Bathroom
The old kitchen was relocated, and the layout changed to accommodate a second bedroom where there was once kitchen space. The bathroom also underwent a significant transformation. What was once a cramped area with a small door was expanded by taking down a double window and creating more usable space. The reconstruction included transforming it into a wet room, allowing for better functionality.
