Emergence of Independence Sentiment
Greenland’s political scene is multifaceted, with a variety of parties that cater to the aspirations of its citizens. Although the Democratic Party is now dominant, the Narak Party—advocating for a more rapid independence process—has also seen a significant rise in votes. The emergence of both parties illustrates a growing desire for independence among the electorate, a sentiment that has become increasingly mainstream in the past decade.
