Fast forward to 2019, I found myself inspired to expose the MLM culture that took my friend away from me. I released my first video about infiltrating pyramid schemes, including WFG. The backlash was immense, spawning cease-and-desist threats from one of their lower-level agents. However, my resolve to shine a light on these practices only strengthened.
In the aftermath, my former friend contacted me via Facebook, reacting angrily to my video and accusing me of misrepresentation and clout chasing. The exchanges highlighted the true depth of his indoctrination into the MLM belief system. My attempts to present information rationally just led to more defensive posturing on his part.
