Finding the Right Type of Volcano

Assuming we could tackle the logistics of transportation, we would need to find a specific type of volcano suitable for waste disposal—namely a shield volcano. Characterized by their broad, gentle slopes and iconic lava lakes, these volcanoes are, however, a rarity. Imagine having to find the perfect location for this grand waste disposal plan and, even then, the mission could still prove perilous.
