After what felt like an eternity of waiting, the biopsy results came back positive for oligodendroglioma. The prognosis was mixed; estimates varied widely, with survival rates ranging from five to ten years, though the statistics included a broad spectrum of ages and health conditions.
Navigating treatment for over a year was challenging; my regimen included thirteen months of chemotherapy. Throughout that time, I was advised against making significant lifestyle changes, which led to frustration and confusion about the best course of action.
